Maybe it's because you're at an higher level and thus you'll get less points because growth is logarythmic for most ELO algorythms?
Maybe it's because some tards were playing in pairs and conceding games in turn to raise both ELOs and now they can't anymore?
Maybe you should play the game because you like chess, not because you get a funny highscore?
Maybe this doesn't matter since it affects everyone anyway and the whole point of ELO is to match equally skilled oponents together and it will still do that?
Maybe the whole point of ELO isn't how high your score is as an absolute value but how high it is compared to everyone else and this change doesn't actually change that?
So many explanations, why would you ignore all of them? I though chess players were supposed to be smart.
