hello anons
this is a brainlet post so if that upsets you fuck off i dont want to hear about it
i have some games and programs that i want to rip images, videos, etc. from, but i'm not sure how. as an example, for pictures, i am more used to programs that store the actual .png/.bmp/.jpg file in its respective directory, but i see more and more programs that have these assets locked away in some esoteric and/or obscure filetype or in the actual .exe itself.
i believe it is possible to manually extract them using a hex editor (something i'm fairly adept at using) but is there a good software that automatically scans the game files for all the assets and lists/organizes them in a nice fashion?
thank you anons.
