Shovel Knight is EVERYWHERE. I was making my own TPS game for /agdg/ demo day and one day the main menu had a Shovel Knight Mode which I never even added or worked on. Yet it contains a fully playable Shovel Knight with his abilities intact in most ways even though I'm not making a platformer.
Several other folks on /agdg/ also reported Shovel Knight suddenly latching himself on to their games. I swear, Shovel Knight is a computer virus which targets unsuspecting game projects in development to inject itself into.
