Here's a challenge. I have two games I can not find.
First game was released some time in the Windows 2000 and Windows XP era. It is a PC game.
It is an adventure/point and click style game where you may play as a rabbit or fox. The part I remember is the scene with a hot air balloon or some type of blimp and it has a rope or ladder your character can climb up. The balloon might be above a big tower with winding stairs like a mountainside. The camera may be pulled back similar to the transitional hub in Donkey Kong Country. I played it on a PC at EB Games. I think the graphics were similar to a cartoon of that era.
The second game
At one point I did have this game, but I lost it and can not remember the name of it. It is a PC game. Guessing by the art style the date of release is around 2002 to 2007.
The title of the game may be in German or Japanese. It might be developed by a Japanese company. It is a 2D side scroller action game. You play as a soldier who shoots other enemies and they become ghosts which you can have join your squad and follow you. Kind of like the eggs in Yoshi's Island. The squad mates have different abilities you can use and they are differently colored. You end up with very many squad mates following you. Your soldier wears a distinctive helmet. Maybe German style. The graphics are cartoony.

There are two games I remember playing years ago back in the early/mid-2000's on a Win 98 computer, but my memories are too vague to find them using search engines.
All I remember of the first game was piloting either a helicopter or some kind of futuristic ship around a city scape at night, and you could fire missiles at other aircraft and they would fire back. It had an early 3D aesthetic.
The second game was possibly a physics edu-tainment game very similar to The Incredible Machine, but the major difference was that you could place and remove objects while everything was still moving. The background had a blue sky with green grass, and whereas TIC only moved in two dimensions, I seem to recall objects like balls were able to roll into the foreground or background as well.

I've been trying to find it for years, it's a game from either the late 80s or, more likely, early 90s. I distinctly remember playing it in 1995 on a Gateway 2000. It was a game where monsters or aliens fought each other in a ring or coliseum. I think it was always 1 vs. 1, but I can't remember any more than that about gameplay. I could have sworn that my brother and I called it Arena, but it definitely wasn't ES: Arena. Looking through Apogee's shareware titles, I'm not seeing it, and I know we had a lot of those.

Yeah, not Mail Order Monsters, though I do remember that one. The closest thing I've found is Darwin's Arena (1991) which fits my description perfectly except for the required computer, especially with the name, though it looks more colorful than I remember. It only ran on Tandy 1000s, and I know we had one, as I used to play Chopper Commando on it. However, my dad said he wouldn't have looked for games to run on it, as he got a handful of them in the late 80s from a local usergroup, and shifted to Apogee shareware with a few exceptions once he got his Gateway. Maybe the timeline is off, but it's the best lead I have.

Playstation 1 Racing game that features characters I vaguely remember as looking like hanna barbera characters, but they're not actually hanna barbera characters. Something about a "grand prix" but the title doesn't have that, evidently as I've looked that up. I remember getting frustrated with it when I was a kid, even hating the game, but now I simply want to know what it was called.. and replay it to see if it was as bad as I remember it.

From what I can remember the game had free movement vaguely akin to post-Doom DOS fps games, you started in this garden level that had a marble(?) fountain, the ground was this bright sand-colored marble/stone pavement, there was a bench and the walls were rather impressive looking sculpted(?) bushes for a DOS/early Win9x(?) game. There was a key lying around somewhere on the floor that you could pick up and then insert into a gate to go to the castle/keep/fortress(?).
It would then show a scroll/loading screen with several pages worth of pseudofraktur german text whose contents I cannot remember and then drop you off in front of the castle drawbridge(?).
Inside the castle was only this one room with a table and some adjacent prison cells containing 1-2(?) spooky skeletons with Zombie-tier AI.
One of the doors was closed and could be opened while the other was always open, I think the skeleton in the closed cell was carrying a weapon(some shitty dagger/shortsword) that you could pickup upon killing it.
Behind the table was a trapdoor that lead down to some stairs and into a gray 10-25m(?) long stone corridor with a waist-high giant roach rendered in realtime 3D sitting at the end, the moment you left the stairs and stepped foot on the floor it would rush and kill you in 1-3 hits.
One thing I'm highly unsure of is wether or not there was some way to look up and down in the game, either similar to System Shock or some early form of modern mouselook, as I can clearly remember looking down to hit the shell of the roach with my sword in a futile attempt to kill it while the rest of the game played similar to Doom/early TES.
The Roach itself was fully textured and its shell had a pixelated reflection/shine effect on it similar to those seen on the cars in Screamer.
The last time I played this game must've been no later than 2004, I think it may have been on some magazine disc from circa 1996-7 containing trailers for the 1997 Blade Runner adventure game and the PC version of Resident Evil along with some demos or it was some weird freeware thing as I have more memories of this unnamed game than of playing Apidya 2002 around the same time.

Fuck, I remember that game. It was briddy gud except the heroes were too fucking small and the game's timing was all off. If you zoomed out the camera enough to actually see what was going on all the heroes looked like ants, and the only way to finish a level in less than 20 hours was to use the (built-in) 9x speed feature. You know a game is fucked when the developers build in a fast-forward button.
But you could also build a whore house and have hookers running around your village, so that was pretty great.
I have one. It was a PC game, a futuristic third-person shooter, would have come out some time in the 90s. We only had the demo so it was only 2 missions long. Your character fought in a squad of 4 and you had teammates with different personalities, kind of like Republic Commando. I distinctly remember that one of your teammates' callouts when he got hurt was "I'M LIMPIN' LIKE A THREE-LEGGED DOG!"
You had a jetpack to move around and the levels were these brown, hazy, low-poly collections of platforms. The missions involved finding these alien nests which kind of looked like Like-Likes and dropping bombs near them to detonate them. That's all I got.

It was really fukken slow, but had an old-school charm to it and a huge playable world with lots of places to explore and (I think) regenerating treasure to get. Lots of playable characters plus lots of skills meant that you could customize like crazy and fuck the combat system to end up super overpowered.
Also had good writing, I think they brought in some no-name fantasy writer to do all the dialogue and lore books.
