This is the thing that strikes me about the "no games station." When I go down to GEO or wherever there's tons of games. Maybe the West just doesn't get them?

Yeah, it's stuck around hard. Doesn't help matters either than seventh gen went hard on the mutliplats, meaning a good bit of the library was also on the 360 and/or Wii. Makes me wonder if it's going to take improvements in emulation to really cause a reversal, the way PPSSPP apparently has for the PSP.

There's probably a lot that we haven't gotten down here, and the fact that the fan-translation scene is still relatively small for the system is also a factor (only finished ones being Tales of Vesperia and Tales of Berseria, and the latter is just a script rip patch; have heard EX Troopers has a patch in the works, but who knows how far that's come, and it's certainly not out yet). Out of what did come out here in the west though, I found thirty something games of interest at least (majority of which JP developed), which has been warrant enough to keep interest in the system. Admittedly some are multiplat though, but I don't really have interest in the 360 library in comparison, beyond a few cases. Different regions do favor different sorts and styles of game though, as to what gets made or picked up to be brought over. Probably plenty of western games not in the Japanese library, for better or worse (but probably better).
