A bit weird that this is "Golden Sun" not 黄金の太陽 and "Rhythm Heaven" and not リズム天国 given it's Nipponese trademarks. Both are literal translations instead of completely arbitrary English titles (like say… Castlevania), so it could just be Nippon's love of putting an English title next to the Nipponese one.

Except in plot and points of no return, DD was better than GS1. GS1 had some really heavy backtracking in dungeons (and the point you wanted to backtrack to wasn't the entrance so Retreat isn't that much help) and pretty primitive puzzles. Plus the Djinni come in so slowly

I know its just going to be a port but I would actually really like a new Mario Baseball game.
Give me a big old campaign with like 20 captains and 80 different players. Bring all the old characters back and add a bunch of new ones like Rosalina, Wart, the Koopalings, more minor enemies. Lanky and Chunky to round out the Kongs roster. More Kremlings so its not just K.Rool and a Kritter. Make K.Rool a captain instead of just a player, ect. ect.

Considering just how many issues Dark Dawn had, seemingly in a way aimed at angering fans of the GBA originals, I honestly doubt Camelot wanted to make a third to begin with. And I'd rather just stick to the first two, than hope for a fourth, let alone a fourth to be good. And given current trends, if there was to be a new game, I wouldn't shocked if they dumped the rotten corpse at the reanimators' lab and have it join the other damned "rebooted for mobileshitters" JRPG zombies. Because that sure seems the go to these days.

This dungeon had 10/10 atmosphere, but it's otherwise one of the worse dungeons in the series. Loads of backtracking, empty space, very simple puzzles (all ammount to fliping a switch and using the new power you got in the single, obvious way. Frost's utility for stuff like blocking rolling logs or on puddles you made isn't introduced till much later.)

Felix's relation with the wise one is just him going against The Wise One's purpose (keep alchemy sealed). Keep in mind The Wise One is considered god of Vale (NoA, for some reason, removed loads of references to religion in 1 but not 2. Most obvious is the "healers from Sol Sanctum" line, which is actually asking about priests.) and DD saying he's a philosopher's stone isn't totally out of left field in Nipponese (Japanese name is "Wiseman", literal translation of the Nipponese name for philosopher's stone is "Wiseman's Stone")

That's the two phrases I mentioned, also the personality switch in Idejima didn't helped, she went from "woe is me, I wish to return to Lalivero" to "Maaaan who cares lol I'm coming with you" not that I don't like her becoming cheery and bullying Jenna. But personalities changed a lot in Idejima, and yes, it's mentioned he is either God himself or the Alchemical stone, but for whatever reason not even he brings up the "Unforgivable Sin" of Felix thag was mentioned since Feizhi in GS1, Hamma also brings it up in both games and ultimately Wise One in the Mars Lighthouse mentions it without ever expanding on it.
