Yes and no. The general conept is the same, but everything is balanced around 3v3. Combos are meant to be pulled off with teamwork, not solo. Think constant Assists but they're not AI but players. There's a lot to take in, but it's well balanced. The matchmaking is horrible p2p however, the game isn't popular as a result and it's difficult to find someone who knows what they're doing for a team. Basically a lot of squandered potential for anyone outside Nippon arcades. At least NT gets everything Arcade gets after a while.
