They never were even at the start. 5-6 server full at most but two months later it cut of at 2-3. I got back some time later and I couldn't find a full server anymore, this all in the first year of release which was already a bad sign.
Lack of content and a shitful hand of maps probably the cause I would assume.
Hope they learn that piggybacking on fans will not work forever

Bf vietnam was really interesting. Besides having a kickass soundtrack you could play from any vehicle the deployables were fun. Americans had a mortar they could place and pick up, while the gomers had punji sticks, caltrops, and could booby trap vehicles to explode as soon as someone started it. The other games are mediocre, I like the box art or vietnam games.

I own it and play it. It's not bad, but it just annoys me because the only vehicles in the game are helicopters. The infantry combat is not bad though. The tunnels are probably the coolest part of the game. Also, it doesn't suffer from RO2's atrocious map design.
