although i like the fact they incorporate VR into gameplay to help with the platforming and the robot looks sorta cute, the design looks extremely generic and a rip off from nintendo's mario.
I like the use of high end graphics for things like water effect, but it looks way too generic, plain, incipid, and easy to be of any worth.
If they upped the difficulty and challenge to be like original crash games and actually got original or made a design to be good and not to cater to the lowest common demographic, the game would be worth checking out. As it is, it looks like generic garbage mario rip off

The whole point of making a game like this for VR is for immersion, isn't it? Like with that one VR Tetris game, and pretty much every other dumb VR game idea, they tried to shill it as being more immersive because of VR. This idea of having a magically controller flying around that some VR games do seems so retarded to me, it would completely kill any sense of immersion they manage to build up.
Aside from that, this just looks like a shitty knockoff of Mario Sunshine, the jump extension thing even looks like it's a straight ripoff of the hover fludd from that game.

They already made it a few years ago. It was basically just a proof of concept demo for the viability of third person perspective platformers in VR, and it was given away for free as part of the VR Playroom. It was also one of the best tech demos in the software bundle, and got a lot of praise - so with the VR library still being really weak, they're basically just stepping in and providing content that third parties still aren't.
As a VR title it's pretty good, but doesn't really do anything to make it special or memorable outside of the hardware gimmick.
