Hey, /v/, I need your advice for upgrading my PC on a budget.
I currently have an Intel i5 4460 with an Nvidia GTX 560 and 8 Gigs RAM and I'm thinking of upgrading to a GTX 1050 Ti with 16 Gigs RAM.
I want to hear what you guys think, what's better/worse for the same relative budget. I'm not looking for a space-machine, just something that would run newer games at a decent pace.
Specifically, I'm looking for something that might run Cyberpunk 2077 at a reasonable graphics setting(say medium-high) at a reasonable fps rate(say 40-60), this should cut it depending on the exact requirements that come out. Even if it turns out to be a shit game requirements wise it should set me up for what little else is to come.
So, solid advice would be massively appreciated.
Side note: I like how there's only like 2-3 major and 2-3 minor releases coming out this/next year worth any kind of note. Are we still being punished for 2016?

Here's a PC build for about 1,000 however since PC's are a primary device I recommend spending another 500-1000 on a top of the line machine. Even if you need to borrow some money, there's no shame in it.

It's variable and local prices can vary too between being much cheaper to much more expensive, right now that 1050ti would set me back about 170-200 dollars so let's assume that to a little more just for the GPU.
As for updating sooner…you'd be surprised. I've been managing to get away with it for ages now. I ran Doom at an average of 30-40fps.

I'm using the Riotoro since my room is extremely small and I'd like to put my desktop on my desk without it breaking. Additionally I plan to travel with it when needed, so size is a factor for me. If size isn't an issue for you then I'd recommend the ECLIPSE P400S. This is the case I'm using right now and it's betty good.

>I currently have an Intel i5 4460 with an Nvidia GTX 560 and 8 Gigs RAM
Well first of all 1050 ti is a good idea for low price mid range.
But from 8 gig ram to 16 gig ram? Might be more expensive than a boost in performance you will get. Do you play games requiring mods like 255 mods on skyrim/fallout 4 or something? Then yes, you might benefit from 16 gig ram. If not - not a lot.
Now about CPU - try to switch to AMD, intel is very compromised since i5, has backdoors for viruses that only recently got fixed.
Notice one thing, aside of GPU, CPU and RAM there's also speed of your hdd, so you might consider buying SSD specifically for games, or multiple hdds into RAID 0. Nowadays games started to weight from 60gb to 100, you might expect heavy loading times and long loading during gameplay.
Remember for best performance you should stay on Win 7, not on Win 10.

Note that if might want to pay less for a SSD, and increase it onto the GPU, but if you are not looking into building a space machine, this is fine.
But i highly recommend that you switch the cpu over to a ryzen 5.

the 4460 has to be the best cost to performance cpu i've ever bought, eats almost no watts at all too, i love it even more than my old phenom 965be, it's that much of a beast. That being said i would consider a small upgrade of it as well if you can afford it.

I doubt we'll see the game release until late next year or sometime early 2020. It would probably be best for you to wait until around that time to upgrade.

If you just want that stuff now here is a list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/G9DKnH Also if you're okay with refurbs EVGA has sales every wednesday with cheaper prices.
However you should probably just wait and save some up to move to a newer platform preferably ryzen 2nd gen since it's more mature and they fixed most of the performance issues. Also pretty cheap and less security issues

Probably not for the PC, unfortunately, but I wouldn't be surprised at a titty slider.
That said, there are confirmed characters with detachable robot tits in the game - including quest NPCs.
Nipple lasers would be nice, though, or nipple guns Austin Powers style.

If that's your goal then your best strategy would probably be to wait until it's almost released, since prices for already existing hardware have a tendency to go down (unless Thailand gets flooded again or some cunts start crypto-meming once more).

Just google it faggot. There was some tool that inserted the missing drivers you need to install it. Or there's the other method of using 5/6 pin KB/M if you have those. If I remember right the only problem is your USB drives dont work until you install windows, which you can't do without a Kb/M. Also you get no security updates if you care about that shit.
