Steam is too much of an open social platform for porn games to get much traction there. While I'm sure there's a decent number of people willing to play Waifu Pantsu Simulator and be seen doing it publicly, I don't think it's high enough to be a particularly lucrative market.
If anything comes out ahead, I'd put my money on otome games. The fujoshi market is strong and there's less of a social stigma in regards to otome games, partially because most people don't know they're a thing and because they're generally put on about the same level as trashy romance novels.
