At the moment im mostly in-between games.

Im really busy lately so I haven't had much time to really devote to games as I would like.

I got a switch for the reason of being able to play games for a bit then being able to put the console away, but I already beat botw a while ago and they havent released anything that I feel suits that play style as much as I would like.

I guess what im really looking for is a more simple RPG like golden sun or paper mario, but god knows if those will ever see any decent installments anytime soon.

Ive been hopping in to enjoy a round or two of TF2 again, havent really touched that game in years but its whats been getting the job done as of late. Despite what a lot of people would say, I still think it hold up.

I would love to curl up with my PS2 or Gamecube, relax with something like Chici-Robo or Katamari but I dont really got the time to sit down and play those.

Hell the picture in OP makes me want to sit down with an episode of GCCX but I dont got the time for that either.

Maybe I should bust out my DS and a comfy game or two I missed, I need more things to keep me occupied.

The end goal to be getting somewhat decent at animating, what ive wanted to do since I was a kid.

Granted I got a lot going in life so I cant put in as much effort as I would like.

Sure, dont expect too much as far as the modeling goes, I am just starting out.

Its something im really just trying to grab the basics of, getting everything figured out before I do something like make a model for animating.

I am trying my best to go for a low-poly art style, like a PS1 or N64 game.

This is also not fully rendered and still a WIP so ignore the garbage shading on the colored picture.

Really should have taken that Blender elective in back in high school but hindsight is 20/20

Yeah, but from what I've heard the remake isn't especially good compared to the original, given the standards of post-Sega Atlus remakes. See pic related (or don't; as is stated, there are spoilers for the game in general). Not like the original is hard or expensive to find either, being both that it got reprinted and people "trading up" to nuRadiant Historia has increased availability. That's assuming you're not just going to download the original for emulation or flash carts though.

Nothing at the moment. Both taking a break after the last game I beat, as well as being unsure as to what to start next from my backlog (which keeps getting bigger). But I'd rather have a lot of good games to pick from for "backlog years" than either be stuck just playing current stuff or have nothing to play.

Did find a Graffiti Kingdom tonight for about $8 tonight. Seems like it should be comfy when I get around to it, given the premise of being able to doodle your own monsters to fight other people's with. Do wonder if I ought to play Magic Pengel first though, given GK is a sequel.

Not really a project, but I've been trying to catalog and organize links to some vidya related artbooks, since the site hosting them is useful but horrendously organized. Progress has been pretty slow though, and even being able to provide links has limited utility compared to being able to provide the files themselves (of which the site isn't set up in a way to make mass grabbing them work out; would have to save them one page at a time). Other than that, I just stitch or restitch occasional screencaps (because fuck the "modern" style of doing so), which I suppose is a project in its own right. Don't really make much OC anymore.

Nothing people aren't already sick of hearing me blather on about here the last few years. Though, I might at least say that Aretha for the SFC got an English patch a few days ago, if that's of interest to anyone. Haven't played it myself, but I do keep tabs on various groups for when stuff comes out.

Only saying this because they can easily be emulated, but Gotta Protectors is pretty fun game-play wise. Retro City Rampage is also alright if you're looking for GTA clones. Fantasy Life is a very comfy and near-mindless game. Make sure to play your Brain Age too, Anons.

Most of the classic Kunio games in English. Sadly the hockey game is bugged but not so much in the original Japanese version, which can also be grabbed from there. I'd also like to shill Rival Showdown on 3DS which I'm sure is easy to find too, but if it isn't then I have a mega link. The music and the localization feels sloppy as fuck but it's still great fun.

I just finished playing Mercenaries 2, the one liners and Mattias helped with carrying it on. But man those airstrikes are really frame droppers especially on my 360.

Also picked up Painkiller, going through the first chapter, I really enjoy the just blast 'em away mentality to it, but I wish it had a little bit more to it. I mean blasting a demon away with my death metal shotgun and homemade stake gun is cool, but what else can I do?

After this I am deciding on either giving Tom Clancy's Future Soldier a go just for the sake of cheesy tacti-cool action, I also have F.E.A.R. one, but I am saving that for another time.

I spent the last month digging into La-Mulana 2, but after a full month of playing that in between replays of the original and remake, I'm feeling a little burnt out. Last night I played Ninja Gaiden and will probably be playing it again tonight as well, either that or the sequel.

This past year I've been slowly replaying the DMC and RE franchises and DMC3 and RE4 would be next up in the queue, so I might choose one of those for the weekend.

D-D also has Aretha II backlogged. Still probably going to be a while since it's only at 50% completion. AG also has Rejoice: Another Aretha Kingdom, but who the fuck knows when or if that one's ever coming out. It's still at 85% and the faggot's got twenty-nine other games in "progress."

Actually, having just checked there as well, it seems a revision of Laplace's Demon came out earlier. Which is nice, since he notes the 1.00 patch made the game just barely playable, with the 2.00 improving shit drastically, but still.
