it starts off quite slow, but once you get all the characters and second jobs it becomes much more enjoyable.

shit story, mediocre characters, great combat and great world-building with a very interesting aesthetic. All in all, it's a mixed bag but I enjoyed it a lot.

I started with Olberic too, and I don't regret it. He only gets better like fine wine the more I see of him. Primrose, Tressa and Cyrus are my next favourites, probably in that order. Primrose I think gets some of the best writing, Tressa is just an indomitable ball of enthusiasm that helps me break the game, and Cyrus is just charming while also being the best magic user. Though it must be said that all Octopaths are kings or queens and deserving of praise

I love this game, honestly, I just have fun with it. I don't think it's flawless, it just makes me feel happy while playing it. It's got that good charm that a lot of games want but never really capture

Thank you, I'm very happy with my top 4. Ophilia was my number 4 before Primrose, and she occasionally slips into her place sometimes still.

H'aanit, I didn't like as much at first, but I've finished her chapter 2 just now and she's definitely grown on me. Might tie for fifth with Therion, the way things are going
