I got done playing the demo of it. Which sucks because the game ran absolutely beautifully.
Never a drop from 60 which should be expected, but it's pretty great to finally have a build of the game that can run at a constant 60, being finally able to take on Anubis without a drop is fantastic.
That being said the audio was way too low, I can barely hear character dialogue during gameplay, character interactions aren't working, and they buckled out of the dual audio promise. There also seems to be some problems with the aspect ratio stretching things out.
And yeah, Denuvo.
I won't be buying the game despite it being one of my absolute favorites. There is no point in giving money to Konami, The original team has mostly already left the company and giving them money is only inviting us to get a really disappointing sequel.
Having Z.Ó.E turn into another pachinko machine for the yakuza is a fate worse than death. It was short lived but it gave us a pretty fantastic video game, and I'm fine with just that.
