I wanna say something, but I have never played or watched anyone play fortnite so I have honestly no idea how one would fix that game. That said, I heard that you can dance in those games. That shit needs to go. They have this in other games too. The problem with dancing is that it's a normalfag meme. Instead of fighting each other people start randomly dancing. This way they make their games more welcoming to underage kids. That said, /v/ gaming nights are basically the same. You know how whenever we try to play something there are some nigs who want to roleplay instead? Those are the people who get their asses kicked. Instead of starting bare and having to find shit at the start, Have them start out with the basic set of items first. Unlike PUBG, if you don't find something good within in the first 2 minutes, you die quickly. Get rid of the distance die roll mechanic if something hits or not and have real skill behind it at who gets killed. Actual destruction mechanics that can be affected by physics instead of taking chunks from one side.

The gameplay is very comparable to cawadooty. Your success is highly reliant on luck. Are you the first to pick up a weapon, get a decent sniper, spot an enemy, etc. Then you have a massive advantage over your opponent.

It is this quality that makes it appealing to casuals, even people who suck at vidya might pick up a good weapon at the start and shoot the guy that tried to pick it up first. It's this that make casuals delude themselves that they're good at the game, just like they do in call of duty when they shoot someone in the back or in ASSFAGGOTS when the random dives from retards and lack of proper response from the opposition tilts the game in their favor.

what COD has that I understand why normalfags like it is an incredible amount of bells and whistles and constant visual/audio stimulation, every single action in those games is rewarded with some fanfare, respawn is quick so even if you die you can say "fucking camper/lagger/tryhard" and you're right back into the match before you finish the sentence, even a small kill streak is rewarded with a bonus and more flashing lights and noises. I get why a normalfag would like that. PUBG/fortnite have the chance of you spending several minutes with nothing happening save for running around the map farming or looking for other players which is what I don't get about why normalfags ended up liking it

I played it to try and understand why anyone was playing it after trying and failing to answer that question via watching streams. I still don't understand why anyone plays it. It's trash.

It has the worst netcode of any game I've ever played where players at a distance seemed to be updating once per second despite being on gigabit fiber. The shooting is terrible and the meta is just who can spam build faster. The rounds are over so fast that gameplay is just a trek to the center where you'll see who got lucky on drops on the way then restart (and yes, I did place 1st once before quitting).

The only thing I can figure is people play is because the streamer they follow plays it, and because the RNG nature of winning is popular for the same reason Mario Party was.

That kind of thing appeals to normalfags, though. The way it works is that even if you lose, you can be back in another match in less than a minute. It's almost exactly the same process as playing a slot machine, for most people who aren't any good. They play a little bit, lose, lose some more, keep on losing, but are always winning just enough to keep their interest up. Maybe they get a few kills, maybe they last a little bit longer, but they don't win. By logical deduction, greater than 99% of players DON'T WIN. And from what I've seen, in any particular match there are probably only 5 players (sometimes fewer) who are good enough to have a chance at an eventual victory. You can't just camp in a fucking bush and expect to have the chops to beat the other guy. Almost everyone loses more often than they win, and most of them NEVER win. Most players have literally zero solo wins, because they're in the group of 95 toddlers playing football with 5 NFL quarterbacks. But they don't care. The point of playing a slot machine isn't to win, because almost nobody does; it's to "have fun". Really, I just can't understand the normalfag mindset, but billions of dollars are made every year in every casino, so they must be doing it right. Fortnite acts on the same premise.

Don't bother. They're too busy frothing at the mouth that some people dare to have fun with a game they don't like. To answer your question, it's literally all cosmetic, and none of it has any affect on the game. As I recall, there was some "dance" that was basically the PC doing a flip, and if you time it extremely correctly you could appear to dodge a bullet. But if you look under the hood, it's very likely that the player's hitbox doesn't change no matter what kind of "action" they appear to be performing. It's also of extremely limited utility, and more of a factoid. But you'll still get retards pointing out that it give someone who has that some kind of advantage. As if doing fucking dances and using that to dodge bullets is a reasonable combat tactic.
