this is the biggest mechanical change between games I saw in the trailer. Maybe specialized characters will be a thing, which would honestly be good to change up runs. overall looks good, i'd play it

i loved spelunky on the 360 and steam. spent over 100 hours on it. easily. looks like they've absolutely fucked it up. just those character designs alone. fuck sake. i'll try remain optimistic but it doesnt look good

The graphics look fluid but somehow I think I liked the pixel like graphics from before, giving the terrain more detail.

It's neat that it has co-op and even fluid simulation, actually. Can't recall if the first one had that.

Hope they sell well, the first one was a frustrating but fun game.

the graphics are garbage but most of the mechanics look good to me.

it's regular spelunky with more content, and that's all I wish for.

hopefully there'll be modding potential this time to get rid of those god awful tile sets, apart from that some of the new weapons look cool and so do the new mounts. so far it looks pretty crowded and confusing, like they added too much in every level and it'll be hard to know exactly what the fuck is going on.

a lot of the fun of the original spelunky was it being difficult but beatable, you're able to plan your moves and shit but it still kept up the fast pace at the same time.

The gameplay looks fine but there's too much Soy.

I refuse to play any game with a female MC unless the game meets the following condition: she is a secondary option to a good male character. Anything else is obviously based on an agenda that has only grown more obvious in recent years.
