It's not an argument against the existence of GNU/Linux, exactly. There's a difference between choosing not to use it and actively hating on it for no reason. The mere existence of GNU/Linux, even as a non-user, does nothing but indirectly benefiting users of even other OSes by giving them a bit of competition and more choices with open source applications that can be ported over.

Besides that, I can tell you don't know what you're talking about by calling Wine an emulator and saying GNU/Linux is only good for servers and "business computers", whatever that means.

> But at least you were the cool kid in high school, sticking it to the man by not using Micro$oft WindBLOWs amirite?

I'd have thought even the most hasty of users would at least wait for the inevitable slew of patches and driver updates and special editions that include the DLC and price reductions and so on before bothering with a current year game. Thanks for bug testing games for free though.

That statement is literally followed with

>and not having to use an unstable emulator for PC games that are years old

In the same sentence at that.

Okay I just played through the first hospital level until I had a 3 star rating. What I saw so far was promising. It does have a Theme Hospital feeling and it's obvious past devs lended their talents on this game. I haven't played through enough of it to make a final judgment but, so far, it has the potntial of a worthy successor as long as the game expands on medical ailments, side missions, and things to build in subsequent levels.

Its less grindy so its casualized. Seriously whats so casual about MHW? You dont have to search the entire map 5 times to find the monster? Or that you dont have to buy 10 pickaxes and 10 whetstones that lazily pad out the game?

84ca43  No.15382468

>>15382429

I'm guessing the answer is unironically yes because all the grinding is supposed to gate off the normalfags.

That's very clearly casualization.

Yeah, pirates and Denuvo clearly affect sales as we can see here

ac0982  No.15383164

>>15378924

Companies invest into Denuvo because they don't care if it's cracked in a week or two because companies only care about first weeks sales. If you know about fiscal quarter scheduling a lot of companies put games near the end of a fiscal quarter so they only have to make goals for and report the launch week sales to investors.

If we could get pre-release cracks like this for AAA games then major publishers might change their mind about Denuvo
