I often wonder if open world pvp in mmos kind of ruined me a little. Having a permanent world to explore -no matter how mediocre the game- makes it feel like kills matter. In a lobby based pvp game with arenas i feel the same diminishing enjoyment i do with racing games. Its too constrained and suffocating ultimately i return to pve games because i know i'm getting a wide open world to explore.
I tried shit like dark souls and absolver and they are alright but get predictable real real fast.
Do you know this feel? it seems like a specific kind of abstract autism thats hard to define really. Just a feeling. Do you feel this? do you feel the feel i am feeling deeply?
