The story, voice acting and cutscene art were pretty horrendous. Noogy really got all DeviantAutisty under the time constraints. Music, general sound design and gameplay were great, though. They even got Alexander Brandon on board, of JJ2 and Tyrian fame.
The amount of mobility afforded to you made it much more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been. Fuck backtracking for secrets and collectibles if you can abuse enemies and combat moves to get to them. Getting up to and through the giant fuckpit of spikes and climbable vines without the ability was really something. Same with sequence breaking with those flying bombs. When the fighting finally became a chore, which did for me was about two thirds of the way through, it was nice being able to fly over most of it.

I'm probably a furry of the strictest definition of the word.
I was much more of a furry when I was much younger.
i kind of realized that the desire to be a furry, at least for me, was born of a desire to be in a better place than I was at the time. I didn't exactly grow up in a secure setting. Once I realized that, I could let go of the "lifestyle" aspect, since I now have a stronger desire to be normal.
Puberty fucked up the appealing aspects of furries for me, and that kind of led to my realization.
My fetish as of now isn't even limited to furries anymore, but it's more of a "sapient? female? I'm game."
I also wish I didn't have a fetish, but it's stuck onto me like a bad mental disease. Otherwise, I want to embrace the mundane.
The reason why I say I'm technically still a furry is that I still like to draw animal-based characters, but I would NEVER draw porn, and I no longer have a desire to BE them.
