i got this a couple weeks ago, and im pretty happy with it. i've mostly just played Robo Recall and Audioshield, but i'm excited to find more things to do with it when i get bored of those two games. i havent played any mmos or RPGs, but i dont think i would enjoy traditional mmos in vr, but it seems like skyrim and fallout 4 probably work very well in VR and an mmo styled like those bethesda type games would probably work well too

anyone have any experience with VorpX? I was thinking of trying to emulate a VR device with my phone and setting up VorpX to play New Vegas, or maybe even Skyrim, although that one I refuse to play until it's so drowned in mods the original shit is diluted to the point of homeopathy.

I'm looking to get into it but I'm not sure what to get other than Oculus being generally inferior to the Vive and the newest Vive not working on the windows I have. Anything out there that works on 7 but has better support and resolution than the older Vive headsets?

That Windows mixed reality garbage requires an up to date W10 and uses their app store so it's just as bad. At least the PSVR works with a standard HDMI connection and has had its drivers reverse engineered for PC but it's far too much work for people to setup. It's also the most popular VR platform with 3 million sold so it's going to stick around for awhile even if the VR fad dies out completely. You might be able to get a used headset for $200 but I'd say it's still not worth it.
