>Nigger it just copied shit from Crysis 2 and Titanfall and rolled with it.
Not really. 5's movement shit is outwardly similar to Titanfall's stuff but it's not really explictly copied from it. Regardless, Halo's always had an emphasis on map control and vericality in map design, but has a relative lack of advanced movement options compared to other Arena Shooters, 5 having more tools for advanced movemeent works well with it's core gameplay.

I was less talking about sprint and more talking about thrust, hover, slide, etc, which work well with Halo's core gameplay since you can chain them to accomplish jumps and other pathways through maps you can't otherwise do, which raises the skillgap.
That being said, sprint in Halo isn't awful. It's not particularly good, but it doesn't ruin the gameplay, like people say either: The maps are scaled up to compensate for sprint so functionally you still move around the map at the same rate, the only difference is that you can't fire while moving at top speed, which isn't inherently a bad thing: It encourages situational awareness and not rushing around like a retard; and it DOES make Halo feel less sluggish and floaty: Obviously Halo stiill always played well, but Halo 5's movement and physics does feel a lot more weighty and response as a result of it, and it feels nicer.
In 6, I'd want charge and ground pound to bee removed, thrust, hover, and slide to be kept, and I don't really care if sprint is kept or removed.
