Now, recently I've been thinking of making videos of me playing vidya just solely for myself (or I can make videos to post on 8chan in like WEBM vidya threads). I thought of pirating Sony Vegas. Does any anon here make videos just for reviewing for fun?

Sometimes. I also use Vegas for editing though I'm pretty fucking bad at it. The black part for between the flag and the logo is actually like a dozen frames of black each 1/10th of a second. I literally downloaded Vegas just to fix their shitty trailer, so I had no familiarity with it, but that's no excuse. I did a pretty good job with the timing for the most part, there are little bits I think could be slightly better, but some of the shots weren't long enough since the trailer was the only footage I had.

Just use shotcut if you're only going to be moving around ingame footage, it's free. I use it to make webms all the time.

Vegas is gay. Just use OBS and Adobe Premiere. That said, you only really need Premiere or Vegas if you edit your videos.

I can give you some advice since I made a few gameplay webm's. These things don't apply if you wanna upload them to youtube. Avoid 60fps or everything above it. The more frames you have the more bitrate you need. Videos at 3 min with 60 fps will look bad, even at 16mb. The usual 480p 200bitrate, 720p 400 and 1080p 800 doesn't apply here. Premiere doesn't like variable framerates, if your video has varibable framerates you have to use something like handbreak to make it constant. Otherwise it will go out of sync.
