A tanky frame will do nicely. Trinity can tank and heal if you want something easy to operate and useful for the whole team.
The Vectis (and other sniper rifles, but fuck you the vectis rifles are the best) and Opticor are good because they can deal a lot of single target damage and are ammo efficient. Take guns which are accurate and ammo efficient. Status chance won't help you in eidolon fights.

Chroma and Rhino are good for this, at least 2-3 tier Ostron standing to get better gear for amp parts farming, get to Quills. The go to meme gun for this is Lanka modded for radiation. People will need to carry you with amp damage at the benninging before you level up quills and build your first decent one for trio fights.

Because Radiation has a 75% damage bonus against Alloy Armor whereas Electric only has a 50% bonus against Robotic Health. Using Shattering Impact on an Ayy 33 times will reduce its base armor to 2, which scales up to 11 at level 50, which is only about 3.5% damage reduction. 71.5% is greater than 50% and that's before even taking the 25% bonus Radiation has against Robotics into account.
The CP method requires 3 CPs and 2 Coaction drifts among them to strip 99% armor leaving the ayy with 12 armor or 3.8% damage reduction.
Here's the raw numbers if you're not convinced. Just be sure to mentally take a 3k or so off the Alloy figures to account for the DR.

I don't want to get your hopes up, but I do think it's possible that they could unvault Mag and Nova together. They seem to like doing male and female couples, but Frost and Loki were unvaulted somewhat recently, Rhino is obviously out, Volt is with Baro now, Ash was just recently given away, and Vaubaun was just vaulted back in March.

You want to hit 200% str for max damage reduction on link, so I'd say swap cunning drift for power drift. I know you have growing power, but nidus isn't really good at proccing status reliably so it makes him weapon dependent. And I'd really suggest using primed flow over natural talent, because of your negative efficiency. Natural talent doesn't really help nidus a lot because his 1 cast speed is based on how long it takes for virulence to end, so it has to run out its natural length or hit a wall before you can cast again. The rest of his powers don't really need the speed IMO. Also if you have arcane grace or whatever the armor on hit one is called, use them.

I was in that clan during the Breeding Grounds event. Basically we all had to reach a certain amount of points minimum and those that were shit (myself included) were carried by what I can only describe as a whirlwind of autism and fast. By the time my toaster loaded in, it was already over. All in all they were pretty cool about it and weren't at all sore about me literally using them to get the event rewards easily. The theme of the core stories is the resurgance of the belief in balance after the Orokin overruled it, spoken explicitly in the codex/journal/memory thing in the latest quest. Right now the potatokid is in a state of disbalance, taking on the figurative karma of characters encountered in the form of their Oro, or their mortal soul. Going off what I remember of the personality gene-memory shenanigans of the Atriedes, the mind buddies will aid or hinder as their nature warrants. I.e. man in the wall shitting on us and teasing, Dax dad's feeling of regret, Queeny's want for control and rage.
I can only assume there will be a Sentient added to the mind palace, filling out the faction set. Probably a fragment of a thoroughly defeated Hunhow. This will lead to a final encounter with Ballas, where the mind buddies manifest and hold the defense so we can choose to spare him for Lotus' sake, slay him like the Queen, or consume his Oro thus ending the Orokin line forever.
They keep brushing up against it but they eventually have to define the Oro. Pics related is my presumption. Methinks they hacked the metaphysics of reality to load up their mind to their spirit. For example Luna missions are chock full of ghosts waiting for new bodies that aren't coming anytime soon. If I had to guess, the moon was near exclusively an extensive facility for the Orokin to rejuvenate. Heavily secured against intrusion, eventually they even housed the living weapon Tenno too.

You certainly can, but it will be tedious. You can go as Volt to take advantage of his shield for both stripping the Ayy's shield and doing extra damage to the Synovia as well as going at hihg speeds to get Lures. I must again recommend taking Shattering Impact to make the job easier if you go solo.
Keep in mind that this will only let you down the Teralyst. Gauntalyst and Hydrolyst will kill your lures so you need heals for them or some micromanaging (I assume).
However if it's just a matter of getting some Quills standing real quick then it doesn't hurt to just try. Much of your early standing will come from numerous Intact Cores since he regularly summons tons of Vomvalysts throughout the night. Even if you go agonizingly slow and aren't actually able to kill, let alone capture, him you will still get appreciable Quills standing to build a 111 amp with.
As >>15361093 says, a bigger concern is your main loadout. I already mentioned Chroma, Rhino, and Volt as potential frames and Lanka as your go to weapon, but you can also bring just about any reasonably good sniper like the Vectis or Rubico as well. My friend I duo Ayys with uses his Opticor as Chroma, but he does have a riven for it as well so take that with what you will.
I must impress again the need to strip his armor with Shattering Impact if you are alone. He does indeed have 555,000 health, but he also has 1,100 armor giving him almost 80% damage reduction. This means his Effective HP is just shy of 2,700,000.
Taken alltogether you should be able to solo him once a night, if not more, even using the Mote amp.
Furthermore while the Mote amp is far better than your naked beam and the 111 amp is far better than the Mote amp the 212 amp should be your main objective for getting a real foothold on ayy hunting. The primary fire hits multiple times while going through the ayy's hitbox; especially when treated like a suppository. The alt fire of the tier 1 scaffold pairs with the regen of the tier 2 brace to give you a spammable attack when you run out of amp energy. You can comfortably use this amp for a long time. Which is good since will also want to get the Madurai Way-Bounds unlocked, or at least sufficiently leveled, soon. They increase Amp energy and energy regen so you aren't dependent on the tier 2 brace anymore.

If you duo then have one be Chroma and the other be Oberon. Oberon can put down grass to prevent magnetic procs while healing through the blasts themselves and if you decide to go past Teralyst he can keep the lures healed.

Other frames to consider are Harrow and Trinity. The meta group is Chroma, Harrow, Trinity, and Volt.

Get high energy, high efficiency mods and you can do it for a good while from room to room, it's specially useful in void survival missions where it's nothing but giant halls full of high vantage points. You can launch yourself forward or high with super jumps and 4 while in the air to instakill things on a path as you land, too. One of her augment (either red veil or steel meridian) lets her move around at half speed while doing the Gun Katas.

Orthos Prime's main appeal is that it can take a number of different builds. Go whole hog with Bloodrush and Meme Strike? You can do that. Don't have the Meme? Still good. Go Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds? Totally fine. Fit Condition Overload on somehow? You can do that too.
The only thing is I don't know if I'd build it for pure status, but you can do quite a bit with it, even with its mediocre crit and status, just because it's got long reach and good attack speed to make up for it.

Still, despite it being pretty clear cut I decided to test it out for absolute clarity for the other >>15361305 anon's sake.
Here's my Kubrow with just a partially ranked Link Armor that provides a 50% bonus. As you can see it is active giving it 82 armor up from its base of 50.
Here's my Ivara, who I foolishly did not show with a blank build, but it hardly matters.
As you can see her base of 65 is not being increased by anything. Not even Link Armor.
But maybe it functions differently in battle somehow? No.
Pics 3 and 4 show me taking consistent damage from a level 50 corrupted butcher whether my Kubrow is out or not.
Now one might say that the armor added isn't enough to make a difference. At 65 armor Ivara has 17.8% damage reduction. If Link Armor worked both ways she would have 90 armor and 23% damage reduction. That's not much, but when the butcher deals 109 damage directly to my health the 5.2% should change that value by at least a couple hit points, but it doesn't.
The wiki is correct, I was dumb for not looking at it closer, and dogs remain useless.

Unairu armor is nice. Makes you a decent bit more tanky, especially with the right arcanes to boost your potato's armor. The Madurai waybounds are nice for better appear usage, and Vazarin waybounds go well to increase your overall longevity, since you get more health and more health regen. Zenurik is also good for the larger energy pool and faster regen. So really only 1/2 of the Unairu waybounds and maybe both of the Naramon ones aren't worth it, unless you're main Naramon or Unairu, and then they're worth it but not to unbind.

I'm considering keeping the phantasma, despite the fact that I have several other unpotatod weapons and only so many slots. It deals a good chunk of damage, it makes cool noises and its unique characteristics make it fun. The ammo reserve is the only drawback.

Because there aren't any void Capture missions that drop Axi Relics. There's T1, Hepit, which drops only Lith, and T3, Ukko, which drops Meso and Neo. Any of the 3 T3 Interception missions, Berehynia, Cereberus, and Xini, will drop Axi relics on rotation B and C.

Two minor clarifications to mein fuhrer's points.
By "will" drop he means they will drop. As in only Axi relics populate the Rotation B and C reward tables for those 3 T3 Interception missions. Yes, that basically means the rotation is A, A, C, C.
There are actually 4 T3 missions however the fourth one located at Mithra, Void has its own separate drop table. It consists of Neo relics for both A and B as well as the usual Axis on C. Yes, that basically means the rotation is A, A, A, C.
Really makes you wonder why they bothered with the unintuitive A, A, B, C design.

i dont have a picture of it, but from memory its almost the same, except its +~250 crit chance +~100 whatever elemental that added to corrosive, and a - to magazine size that brings it down to 3 or 4.
i had serration, 3x max 90 elementals to favor corrosive, multishot, and crit chance/dmg cards.
its amazing, i have screens of myself doing 1m damage to phorid. (500k x2 with multishot)
the greatest part is being able to 1-shot most ships out of the sky… sometimes they need 2.
