If your war is high you get s sneak attack which stuns your enemies.

Obviously don't spread em all out but have your army out maneuver the enemy. Remember when you fight on a node you and your enemy can only put a maximum of 3 armies out at time.

But if you send your reinforcements down another road and attack them from the rear you can do more damage and cut their retreat off.

Its an unfinished mess. Koei likes to cut and release content as they go along. Sphere of influence and Three Kingdoms were no different but luckily it was released with the powerup kit for US.

So we didnt have to deal with the bullshit the Japanese fans did.
