Been playing Fallout of Nevada. It's pretty good and has a lot of content crammed in. The translation could use a lot of touch ups. It's pretty clear that there were multiple translators since the text can go from indistinguishable from native speaker to google translate between characters and sometimes the poor translation obscures an important fact about a quest and leaves you guessing. It's amazing as far as fan made content goes though.

Attack of the Saiyans. Right before the final boss fight against Vegeta, trying to see if there's anything left to do at this point aside from work on AP/leveling and/or fight Broly as the bonus boss (though I doubt I'm ready for him yet). Could try to fight more Dododos in the hopes of getting more Head Chalas, but those things are horrendously good at dodging attacks, have really high defenses if they do take damage, and then flee battle (and usually get to act first assuming you don't have a priority equip).
Not sure what to start next.

Not if he's playing the remake, they gave everyone at least one aerial/anti-air attack, made everyone move at least 3 times faster (god bless the muramasa engine) and the hitboxes aren't absolutely fucked anymore, i remember Velvet vs anyone that wasn't her true final boss the cauldron was a nightmare, and even the cauldron was hell because you needed to weaken its legs first and then climb him to hit the weakspot, and Velvet is the one character who lacks a floaty double jump (she swings with the chain instead iirc) and has shit melee.

My only hope now is Wasteland 3 and maybe Bards Tale 4 though I'm not much interested in that. Fargo is pretty much the only old guy around who knows how to design proper old games.

Monster Hunter World. New patch just dropped today that addresses the server shit. Friend of mine just picked it up tonight, and we're gonna go on some hunting adventures tomorrow. Can't fucking wait.
RimWorld. It's always a slow start for me playing these types of games. I'll pick it up, say "meh", then not touch it for 6-18 months before trying again. On my third try now, and I've finally hit that "hook" that pulled me in. Eventually, I intend to give Factorio another go as well.
GTA Online. Been playing it steadily since it came out launched on PC, and it's always been fun since I play it regularly with the same few friends. But I think I've finally had my fill. After buying basically everything, I don't feel like there's much to really do anymore. So now I've been finding myself playing it less and less lately.

Playing Outlast, not really scary but more tense. But only when the monster is looking for you. The jumpscares are more annoying then anything. Had one where the music blared so loud and sudden it suprised the fuck out of me. At the same time it managed to rape my ears, was so pissed I nearly quit the game but lowered the volume and gave it another chance. AI is stupid as shit, and manage to confuse them by doing simple stuff like jumping over tables which ruins any fear or tense feelings. Not the worst horror game I've played though That was Slender: The Arrival

Just beat Dark Souls III and started on Dark Souls I. I don't even know how I acquired the copy I got for the 360, but I can't really justify buying a new copy or the remaster when I have a perfectly functional version already. Well, occasionally perfectly functional. I'm in the middle of blight town and it's a goddamned slideshow.
Otherwise, I'm not really investing in anything substantial at the moment since Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming out in a few days. I went through and unlocked all the classic levels in nu-DOOM, and immediately regretted that decision. Holy fuck, you cannot find any clearer condemnation of nu-DOOM than trying to play classic DOOM levels in the new gameplay. They should have buried that shit in shame, and hoped nobody else noticed or remembered the old games very well.

Playing Divinity:OSEE. Meme game, it's not bad but it doesn't deserve the dicksucking it got when it came out. The companions are some of the worst I've seen in an RPG and I can't find spells and abilities anywhere, I'm under equipped to fight a boss in a cave. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - Combat is ass and all of the characters excluding Pyra, Nia, and Dromarch are getting on my nerves. I’ve only just got to chapter 4. I doubt it’s going to get better.
Octopath Traveler - my first about 8 hours with this game were pretty alright. Then I started hitting a wall where I realized the game was too formulaic. Go to town for character, get a bit of story, go to dungeon to kill a boss, rinse and repeat. It really shouldn’t have been made with the eight character gimmick in mind in my opinion.
Dead Cells - pretty alright game. I haven’t put a whole lot of time in but I’m enjoying what I’ve played.

I don't have a controller and actually after getting used to it KB&M is better imo, since you can't just spam dodge it's more balanced that way you really need to think and time it.
the main reasons i haven't beat it yet are some bullshit hitboxes and "the game" not focusing the enemies i want to focus and the last boss kick attackwell there's also a lot of luck involved

Beat shovel knight, got through a good chunk of steamworld heist, tried shantae a bit. The 3DS library feels really underwhelming. I can't shake the feeling it's really aimed at kids and manchildren (especially if you compare it to the PSP's library). Can't complain though, I got it for free from a friend just to play monster hunter. I've looked through the recommendation chart but nothing quite seems to click. Going on a long trip soon and will only have this thing to tackle the plane ride. Any suggestions besides selling it and getting an unpatched vita to pirate weeb shit?

Maybe Metroid Samus Returns could be more of your liking. It's not as good as AM2R, but MercurySteam really learned a lot from their Castlevania Fuckup and made a decent Metroid game that feels comfortable to control, with fun boss battles. You can also play the first 3 Shantae games on it.

I'd say get the Vita and keep your 3DS. Both libraries are pretty much complimentary, and even if the 3DS is a bit weak, you have both GBA (virtual console injects work perfectly) and DS (via flashcart. You can buy a chink one for 5 USD easily) games to play.

Haseo's descent into power hungry lunacy throughout the tournament makes no sense; not only is it out of character (his motivation revolving around finding Tri-Edge, not lording power), but he summons Skeith out of desperation while you the player are curbstomping the enemy. I think I actually got all of Alkaid's team down to 0 before she used her awakening on me, and even then she was doing like 3 damage per hit.

Have you watched .hack//Roots beforehand? Because once Shino gets comaed, he goes full edgelord as a coping mechanism (her having wound up one of the few things he really cared about with the game). The end goal is definitely to find Tri-Edge (which he thinks slaughtering every PKer he comes across will accomplish; "PKers will know other PKers" logic), but at the same time he seeks the strength to kill Tri-Edge once he finds him, and anything else that might get in his way, hoping that slaying what took Shino from him will give her back in death. By the time he's one of all two people to clear the Forest of Pain event (which he specifically enters in pursuit of strength), he's been forcibly evolved from first form to third form, gained massive amounts of power to the point he can take down a hundred PKers in one sitting soon enough after, and by the time Rebirth's prologue starts (overlapping with the last bits of Roots) is closing in on max level and likely well geared when he confronts Tri-Edge, and still gets easily data raped for his efforts. Post-drain Haseo might still be a jerk, but he's actually a bit tame, compared to how he was before.
Thus, while his goal is still to find Tri-Edge again, he knows he needs yet more power, beyond just reaching the same point again. Skeith's awakening provides him with a broken power to even the field against a broken power, and naturally he gets drunk on it for a little while, using it whenever he feels without really understanding it, before getting taught a harsh lesson, after which he learns to both choose when to use his Avatar more wisely, as well as to not be controlled by the power he seeks to control himself. Also, it's less "out of character" and more of a relapse, really. Point being he gets better about it, and throughout R:2 gets some decent (if somewhat rushed, in as far as Vol.3 specific) development to his character.

It certainly gets a better combatwise once Flick Reaper is unlocked, granting the ability to Multi-Trigger and Trigger Shift in the process. No more manually, slowly having to change equipped weapons in normal combat.

I came back to playing Diablo 2 online after 10 years. I was surprised by the lack of spambots, and how the bots promoting stores do Baalruns instead and don't bother people at all. It's been pretty comfy to be honest. Once I'm done with that I'll play a mod like Reign of Shadow or Eastern Sun The Path of Diablo launcher doesn't work on Linux, but honestly, any mod hosted on Reddit is probably not worth it, even more so if the content is online-only I've been playing this game for over 15 years, please help

Currently playing Shenmue 1 HD after emulating a bit, and I'm honestly loving it. It definitely has its flaws like waiting around just to kill time for certain events to happen, but its ambitious as hell for a 1999 game mixing exploration with Virtua Fighter combat. It does feel like a walking sim at times, but it just feels like one of those games thats flawed yet still manages to be enjoyable.

Recently started playing HoMM 3 and I'm having a blast playing various scenarios. Fortress is my favorite faction so far.
This and Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic are the only strategy games I've been able to get into. I actually like AoW:SM's gameplay more than HoMM 3's, but the AI is nowhere near as good.
The thing that bothers me about HoMM 3 is that the most effective strategy always seems to be to have only one hero who you invest all your army's strength into and only use other heroes as mules that form a chain to continuously feed your main hero with units from towns.

It varies from map to map. Some times you'll need to have multiple heroes due to the size of the map/awkwardness of getting around. Or defend your castles with a hero when the AI sends every hero to shit down your neck the second you can't get your main hero back in time.
Also, get the HD mod if you can. It kills those scenario pre-rendered cut-scenes (at least for me) but it offers lots of little things that are useful.
There's also Horn of the Abyss. Along with a new faction and scenario, it even has some fixes (nerfs Necromancy, improves Imps, lets Magogs and Power Liches choose which Hex to shoot, cuts very OP heroes and replaces them with new ones, and provides alternatives to Navigation Heroes on maps with no water)
