I find simulators are usually the best for that, games like Euro Truck or Elite Dangerous even though admittedly they aren't great games on their own. I've been playing House Flipper lately and that definitely fits the bill, if that's your thing.

Warframe, anon. It's built from the ground up to be the perfect zone out and get comfy game. The only take your attention is required is during the cinematic quests which you never really have to do for a very long time.

Reminds me that Atari Jaguar version of DOOM doesn't have any music because devs decided to utilize auxiliary processor, that normally handles music, to do something else. It's solid port otherwise according to AVGN who called it "Silent DOOM" and suggested you could just put Slayer on the background.

Monster Hunter World is the best Monster Hunter to date. It's well worth the 60 dollar pricetag.

IV's beginning is a bit of a slog with the constant character switching. I played the DS version but does the NES version handle it the same way? I honestly enjoyed II more than IV.
