I never know OP. I never saw the appeal of this game, I never saw the appeal of The Last of Us, I vaguely saw the appeal of Call of Duty but only as a multiplayer tool to be played with pals at LAN parties, essentially the same value as Halo or any other FPS. GTA always had immense appeal because GTA let you steal anybody's car, crash into other peoples' cars, blow their cars up and them with it, blow your car up, etc. etc. I have yet to this day even touch campaign on any GTA game. I do not understand how someone would enjoy a railroaded plot where you have to do X or there is absolutely nothing else to do.

It's Indiana Jones. It's slightly challenging on Crushing where you're forced to at least partially stealth through each section. The multiplayer is alright. It looks pretty. The characters are endearing cliches because Henning is a good writer. That's about it. There's no truly bad game in the series, either, which is kind of mindboggling given the amount of kikery and pozz surrounding the studio.

Beat it a few days ago, I expected it being pozzed up the wazoo, but nope, it's bog standard Uncharted. It's basically a slightly longer open-worldish segment from 4 with some nice setpieces on the side, and a rerun of uncharted 2's train section. It's fine. There is literally one random comment you can get while driving around about how "it's nice to finally work with a proud emancipated woman such as myself" which is much less than I anticipated. Fucking Nadine has character development even.

You cranked the difficulty up to 100%, right? Although, yeah, even with difficulty up you reach a certain point where you start winning by default because you've released so many nobles over the course of getting tough enough to actually siege towns that they more or less flock to you once you've taken a couple towns. I ended up restarting because I'd been knocked out so many times I was starting to lose stat points, just went archer the second round instead of being a melee-cuck.

Uncharted 1 is an objectively awful game, with shit level and enemy design, mediocre controls with forced sixaxis, and some incredibly shitty segments like the jetski, zombie goblin parts, and the final boss. Uncharted 2 is an OK game that improved on the first one in every single way, had some great parts like the train chapters, and had fun multiplayer. Uncharted 3 again improved on Uncharted 2 in almost every way, but it had a big issue in the cutscenes to gameplay ratio and felt a lot slower to get going. The multiplayer was significantly improved. The one thing in common in all of the games was the fact that the main cast was pretty likeable and well written.
Amy Hennig left Naughty Dog at this point. Neil Druckmann takes over writing.
Uncharted 4 is basically a 12 hour nu-action movie filled with retcons relating to Nathan's brother, (who I'm pretty sure is just Druckmann's self insert) where more time is spent on exposition and bullshit instead of the actual action, the writing is shit, and you spend two to three hours of doing jack shit between shooting five enemies at a time. The Lost Legacy only exists because Druckmann likes jerking his jewpecker to interracial lesbos. even though Chloe was set up as a femme fatale with no signs of rug munching for two games

They are high concept action adventure games with a ton of polish and attention to detail with some of the craziest set pieces ever. I know better and I still enjoyed all of them a lot, ever the supposedly shitty third one. I've played worse games. I never paid a dime for them though, probably heightened my enjoyment. They are just simple action games with very high production values. UC4 had the best gameplay.

The most cringey part was that Chloe was worried about a random poo in the loo girl in the market from the opening. (The same Chloe who left countless others for dead previously.) The lesbo angle is pushed by Naughty Dog's PR team, in the game Chloe berates Nadine for not enjoying fucking men like Drake. Asav was actually a good villain, and I was expecting some retarded ass comment about how he is the big bad man defeating poor oppressed women or something, but nah, he's just a run of the mill power hungry general. None of this has anything to do with the gameplay which is servicable.
Don't get me wrong, the studio is kiked as fuck, but the games don't really show it. The most brazen they were about it has so far been the Last of Us 2 trailer, as we all know.

You won't be able to run around, shoot russians with a shotgun, punch the next two, jump of the ledge onto another and shoot some more with grenade explosions happening around you, since two hits kill you.
The main appeal, being the cinematic action hero, just doesn't work on anything above normal, since the smartest thing to do would be sitting behind cover and taking enemies out one by one. Anything else would get you killed too fast.

I'd agree with you when it comes to the first one, maybe the second one too, but 3 and the rest excel at providing opportunities for a little bit of stealth and then shootan in a loop. It's very easy to break combat below crushing and enter stealth. On crushing they can spot you from a long distance and hit like a truck, so even the smallest risk is fatal. Makes the actual run and gun parts much more intense.

I hear that during development of uncharted 3, amy hennig got some internal pushback for not making the story "too sjw" enough. A segment in that game's story takes you on a tour of some arabian marketplace. In the final game, there were loads of women wearing those full-body black kebabs or hijabs or whatever those clothes are called. Some of the more hard-left sjw members on the u3 dev team wanted that section to revolve around those women's oppression. They wanted amy hennig to devote more story time to bringing light to their plight for that segment. She didn't. She hardly cared much for using the story as an sjw soapbox. Much to the dismay of naughty dog's sjws at the time. She'd much rather wanted to focus on crafting a good swashbuckling treasure hunting adventure with huge set pieces, rather than anything else. The game features some lesbian undertones, but it isn't anything pleasant like in "Fear Effect" as the two characters here are ugly as fuck.

Gameplay-wise Uncharted 4 is the best in the series by a massive margin and I genuinely don't understand how someone could consider any of the first three games decent while simultaneously disliking 4. The biggest let down for me was the lack of any supernatural twists at the end, but apart from that 4 is a straight upgrade to the series' formula in every regard, even if I do wish that the various platforming challenges (the grapple hook, slopes and peton) were introduced much earlier in the game.

The first two were alright light adventure shooters. UC3 felt like like it was dumbed down even further and with a ham-fisted story that exists pretty much to just wrap things up with a happy ending. Pretty disappointing overall. UC4 was an unnecessary cash-in that basically played itself outside of the boring cover-based shooting sections. Also, it's story was shit, with way too long cinematic and walkie-talkie bits, and exists to push a progressive narrative. They would have gotten rid of the white males if they could, I'm sure, so they just did the next best thing and have him and his brother constantly get the shit kicked out of them by a strong female poc who gets away clean in the end, and then when the story was over, release DLC that's all about roastie power. The only thing UC4 introduced that was any good was the grappling hook.

The stories are entertaining, the characters are endearing, and it's overall harmless fun. The gunplay in 4 is breddy guud. The stealth sections are easy but sorta fun.
