after that i went to model1 rifles and made a custom upper (the only part that really matters. the only thing in the lower worth upgrading is the grip and the trigger, but neither are necessary.
model1 rifles you can make a super cheap upper for ~$200 fully assembled. i went with the chrome moly, short barrel, and the plastic triangle handgrip and it was around 350 for me but ilso opted for an A3 top with a removable carry handle.
i live in a no-fun state and needed some special shit to skirt the law. if you live in a state that doesnt have limits on ARs you can probably easily find a bushmaster for around $300

If they truly loved games, then where the fuck are they now? They could be considered an equally important and viable market to what the corps believe SJW is, but they're not around anymore. thinking about it, many old-hats were forced into exploring their hobby on a deeper level. If you got into anime before streaming services started supplying it you'd have to scrounge around the old web or real shops to find more anime media and get exposed to more of it. This applies to games just as much. If you started off getting into it with limited or no internet access you'd end up trying out games just based off cover arts or maybe magazines and experience more genres and learn what you do and don't like within it, or what you would like to see more of.
