This series has long since become entirely irrelevant. Not sure if due to Arkane or Zenimax though. The first was okay because of its setting, and power fantasy/edgy mask protag. The second loses all of its aesthetic charm by placing you in a boring world, and pozzing everything up. The "3rd one" which is less of a third one and a standalone dlc they've added, was even worse, and fared even worse than dishonored 2, which was already a commercial flop. This series is dead.

Funny enough you get the choice to kill or spare the nigress in the knife of dunwall dlc. Guess they gotta retcon things for the sake of diversity.
Everything in Dishonored 1 was infinitely better than D2. D2 fucks around with the supporting cast too much and ends up leaving too many lose ends. Even though you can play as Corvo the justifications for the missions are built around Emily and Emily ends up feeling like a Mary Sue due to how young she is. I would have rather It been where you play most missions as Corvo and some missions as Emily. Have the Elimination missons be handled by Corvo, easy enough. Then let there be rescue missions where Emily goes in to save her allies from when she was still queen, while having no powers. This way you can develop Corvo and Emily as characters and strengthen their bond as family. Also take away or nerf her tentacle assassin powers, she should not be on par with Corvo yet. Maybe in a game 3 but not in game 2 while she's still a teenager.
