Making a new thread because the old one is bumplocked
As I wrote in the last thread, google has started updating the cache dl links for all the games on Emuparadise. However, some enterprising anons have found direct DL links for the games so grab em while they're hot.
How-To for you Anon's out there, I'm using PS2 for my example:
1. Pull the DL name from Emuparadise game page with the region code included eg. "DragonBall Z - Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (USA) (En,Ja)"
2. Format it to a URL-friendly formatting using this page: https://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/ - just paste the name in and hit encode, it will convert the special characters to a URL-friendly format
3. add .7z to the end of the name as that is primarily what EP is using for their archive files.
4. Paste the full name with 7z to the end of this url: http://50.7.188.26/happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/Playstation2/ with a slash after the system name so it will look like this: http://50.7.188.26/happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/Playstation2/DragonBall%20Z%20-%20Budokai%20Tenkaichi%203%20(USA)%20(En%2CJa).7z
5. Copy the URL to your browser or whatever DL Manager you're using (I'm using jdownloader 2) and give it a shot, they should work as it seems they have only removed the DL links for the time being, but not the actual files themselves.
Here are some other folder structures for other systems (I grabbed ones most relevant to me and USA only, I will post below how to try and retrieve the folder structures for lesser-known formats):
PSX 2 PSP: happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/PSX2PSP/
PSP: happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/pspisos/
PSX Japanese ISOS: happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/psxj/psxjap/
PSX US ISOS: happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/PSX-Redump/
Dreamcast ISOS: happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/Dreamcast/
Gamecube US ISOS: happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/Nintendo%20-%20Gamecube/USA/
Here are some alternate IP addresses for DL links if for whatever reason 50.7.188.26 doesn't seem to work:
198.255.70.90
207.244.64.121
162.210.194.49
IF YOU NEED A FOLDER STRUCTURE OTHER THAN THE ONES ABOVE:
You can still use the google cache trick for games in your category, but you need to pick something that is relatively obscure or less likely to have a cache update (because of the lack of popularity, google seems to archve it less). If you get a working dl link, drop it into jdownloader or some other sort of DL manager. Start it (you don't need to download it fully, obviously) then go to change the URL. You should see the current URL for the game you're downloading, it'll be something along the lines of happyxhJ1ACmlTrxJQpol71nBc/INSERT FOLDER NAME HERE/ with possibly more folders appended to it. If any anons want to post other folders, by all means please post them.

Reposting from last thread, I finished and uploaded the repacks of Emuparadise's DS collection. They're in chunks of 300, about 6-10 gigs a piece, 185 gigs in total and 298 gigs unpacked.
You can find them all here
https://thepiratebay.org/user/niggertendo/
As posting all the magnet links would take up too much room.
If it doesn't show up, just search for "Emuparadise Nintendo DS ROM Pack".

Someone just posted in the other thread about this.
It appears the PSP folder is no good as they didn't bother renaming the archives from the original scene releases they were hosting :(

Also Alternative Sites (not verified for sketchiness obviously, but worth a shot):
https://vimm.net/?p=vault - Mainly popular consoles and handhelds, no PSP.
https://1fichier.com/dir/uExVcS2h - PS2 ISO archive, includes Japanese
Also with regards to the PSP folder being scene files, you might be able to copy the file name from the hosted .nfo file on the site, they ususally list the full title on it, which might work in a pinch. Also scene releases tend to use underscores instead of %20 for spaces, so be wary of that, oh and also they're .rar files instead of .7z
It's retarded I know, but what can ya do.

Foolish. SJWs will try to destroy western civilization with or without niggers. But remove the SJWs and you could easily ship all the niggers back to africa where they would remain, never bothering us again.

Speaking of artbook scans, currently digging around a site I have bookmarked. Place has a lot of books, but everything's just tossed around in general broad categories (IE "Video Game Artbooks"), with the native organization just being "new stuff on top, scroll to load older", and no simple, full list of what's currently on there. Most don't have direct download links anyhow, and trying to download them page by page would be a massive pain in the ass (fucking Tactics Ogre artbook is apparently over 700 pages alone), and while it could just be my browser, the fucking search function doesn't seem to work either, but the least I can do is make a properly organized contents list with quick links to the posts containing the contents for each. Maybe from there anons can save what they're interested in, and then repack them for sharing at a later time. Not even sure how much I have left to go; gone through present back to 2015 thus far. Sad thing is this is the closest I can find to a large scale vidya artbook repository (and one that doesn't sometimes require registration/post count level to get at), yet is still a pain in the ass to use.
I do have to wonder how readily companies might DMCA scans of artbooks. As has been seen, they tend to go after games, anime, and manga (moreso western licensed ones in the case of the latter two), and most places hosting music will have a blacklist of stuff they've been given take downs for and aren't going to allow reuploads of, but artbooks seem to be a bit more niche. Makes me wonder if a site solely devoted to providing such, and without being a hassle to use, could work, considering most sites with artbook scans, or at least links, just make them a small part of their coverage.

See if you can download from either of these two albums without having to do so picture by picture. First should be short enough that it probably won't need a "scroll to load" in the album, while the second will. Should help gauge if it works well, if at all (so to save time, only try the second if the first works). Would also need to know, assuming it works, if it saves the actual full images, or just the provided thumbnails from album format.

Done with that subfolder of the site, but there's another ("c_artbook") which has more links that could be taken and organized. In one way, that one is set up slightly better, having links to actually download the artwork in bulk directly (albeit as pdfs and other digital book formats), but also worse, in that it's a mishmash of stuff that isn't strictly vidya and potentially much bigger. I'll try to sort through it tomorrow and organize it too, but likely only for the vidya related stuff.

Not at all. Though there aren't many places in hentai that would be good outside of sexual desires. Like many monster girl settings where monster girls integrate into modern society. Fighting wars again enemy countries who recruit monster girls would be a shit experience.

Yeah, quality's kind of hit or miss. You've got some that are proper flatscans at whatever resolution, others where they just stuck the book on the scanner without unbinding, and still a few that are just fucking photos of the pages with the book held open. Of course, it's not as if other artbooks don't have their own problems. While EP's own set for Shadow Hearts II at least wasn't photo-of-page tier, they still opted for the "who really cares about the text in here, or even the whole page, people just want the character art" crop style.
>>15284580
PS1 and PS2 are physically region locked. You could get a FreeMcBoot card and/or set up a fat PS2 to run games internally from an IDE (which bypasses the region lock), and there's also swap discs like Swap Magic that be used (but are an added expensive and will put wear on the disc tray). But playing via IDE would mainly just help for PS2 games, as loader apps don't work with the PS2's PS1 backwards compatibility (PS1 mode doesn't recognize HDD).

>where can I find information about this?
Pic related is a mixture of steps from guides I used to set up mine, as well as my own observations from the process. If you don't trust that directly though, there should be a few guides on TIZ (search " PS2 48-Bit HDD OSD 1.10 and Preinstalled Applications" and/or "PS2 HDD Modding Tutorial"), and of course there's jewtube videos on it as well. First time I was playing it really safe, double and triple checking everything, and it took me maybe an hour or two, but if I had to do it again I could do it pretty fast and easily. Don't be real daunted about the amount of steps.
I might add to that that you should look into if the PS2 was still part of the time when there was a refresh rate difference, and if that would be on the system end (IE: all games on it would try to run at a lower rate), or on the software end (games for the region run at that rate). Also whether there's a potential difference in NTSC and PAL power by the time the PS2 was out.
You should also give both of the following a looking through for particular games of interest, as far as loader compatibility goes for certain games, as the PS2 has two separate loader homebrews and compatibility can vary
>OPL: http://sx.sytes.net/oplcl/games.aspx
>HDL: https://www.absoluteanime.com/hdloader
Personally I prefer the former, and either way it's wise to make sure that you have up-to-date loaders as bugs and incompabilities with earlier versions could have been fixed with more recent ones (as happened with, say, .hack//Outbreak in OPL).
>If I went with this how might I run burned PSX discs?
I haven't tried burning anything myself in regard to that (I've got both a CFW PS3 with COBRA and a CFW PSP for digital PS1 games), and I'm not sure how much Free McBoot might help on that end. You'd have to physically fool the system into thinking the disc was legit, and since you're speaking about wanting to play NTSC as PAL, you'd also be having to fool the region lock. I know the PS2 had some modchipping back in the day, but I don't know if those sort of services are readily offered these days, or how hard it would be to do so yourself (assuming the chips are being made). Maybe someone else can better answer that one.

CFW PS3 has COBRA for both PS1 and PS2, but that is, again, an emulator. 20 and 60gb fats can play downloaded PS2 games simply by loading them from Multiman or something, and playing through the included chip instead (system runs them as if the game disc was inserted), and is honestly a bit easier to move games over to (no physically removing the drive to do so). The downside with fat PS3s though being longevity (and need to replace that default drive to something more manageable), and even if the entire system doesn't go, you can still have laser issues. Friend of mine has a 60gb and while it reads bluray and CD media just fine, it can't even recognize a DVD has been inserted anymore. Also, I would assume they use late model PS2 chips, and the PS2 had its own variable compatibility between models even for PS2 games (PS1 as well).
>>15284762
If you know of a more up to date compatibility link in regards to the PS2 and drives, feel free to let me know and I'll update the document and recap and stitch it. A fair amount of hard drive guides for older systems aren't the most up to date. As for SATA, I haven't had experience with them. I used an IDE to be on the safe side, and so far it's worked great.

I'm not even sure where to begin with this. Vidya and porn are two completely different things.
Trustworthy sites to get vidya are a lot rarer than trustworthy porn sites.
You can't search for old vidya as easily as you can search for porn, with a single page you can usually find the source if you bother your ass looking.
This thread was made specifically as an archiving thread for vidya for a website that's about to shut down.
People ITT aren't asking for the source of games, they're asking for packs and ROMsets to be saved.
Games tend to be significantly larger than hentai comics and many people have limits on how much storage space they have and how much their ISP allows them to download per month. The DOS ROMset alone is over 300gb.
I could go on for ages but I think you get my point. I'm not sure how you even managed to equate these two things.

How do you trust Emuparadise over original dumpers' sites?
People outside and inside EP have reconfirmed the packs & ROMsets have 1) bad dumps, 2) old dumps, 3) incomplete sets.
The "difficulty" in sourcing material depends entirely on the person, not their scarcity: Porn sharers seem to mirror and duplicate their sources many more times than ROMdumpers.
The ISP bandwidth argument is completely invalid, since porn sharers seem to have no issues reuploading HD videos everywhere including TBs of BitTorrent collections with niches beyond video game genres.
If you haven't noticed, the problems to "limited sites that host Retro gane dumps" are usually centered around monitors and chairs.
I'm still waiting to see who here has the audacity to a proper magnet site.

Here's a new c# application to get download links from emu. You put the urls in the urls.txt and it spits out an html document with direct links. I would recommend grabbing an add-on for your browser to get the links from the "list all titles" page. That way you can just highlight them and copy.
It basically works the same way as the script linked here >>15301944 so if you get an error, try the script. I would recommend doing a ctrl+f for "ERROR" on the html file as well.

I can already find the bottleneck. What you've done is make it wait for an external connection to finish before moving onto the each element. Very slow. What you should do is precompute everything you can, then store the data in an array. After that, you should use thread pooling to call a static worker function that has a signature like
>PollURL(T[] data, int startIndex, int count)
to divvy the work up. Eg, if you have 800 URLs, split them into chunks of 50 and split them up into threaded jobs

The only "attacking" was one ROM site and one GitHub repo, the rest has been because the ROM site owners are retards who want to profit off of ad revenue or bust and thus will shut down their sites whenever they even fear any legal retribution.

Thanks, but there's too much to tell.
I will at least list what needs to be backed up first, and what could be ignored.
- Unclassified:
Automatic Yes:
ALL SDKs (EP is easily the sole unified source left anymore for these, at least for older consoles)
BIOS files,
old emulator versions
- Soundtracks:
<Yes: if it's flac, or an arrangement, or "unreleased" tracks, or an album title rather than a game title, it's likely exclusive.
khinsider has an ost blacklist (lots of Capcom stuff like BoF), those are a priority
<No: NSF rips, game rips. (already compiled on some sites)
- Guidebooks / magazines:
<Yes:
anything for JRPGs by Prima/BradyGames/etc.
most Nintendo guides,
ANY manual
<No:
magazines like Nintendo Power (no need, already on archive in better conditions), possibly others
- Games:
<No:
PS1, GBA, DS, anything on TOSEC/No-Intro collections already (but No-Intro drops some files like some dumps/fantranslations/prototypes and they're only on EP)
<Yes:
Unlicensed NES (chinese/jp/russian stuff),
unlicensed megadrive, fantranslation packs,
rejected dumps elsewhere (archaic sealed heat english, chrono trigger retranslation + crimson echoes, pokemon prism, star fox 2 protos + final…)
computer games (pc-98, fm-towns, x68000, AMIGA) especially dumps that come as floppy DISKs / cds
PS2 games, but only EU/JP region (only saw a full set for NTSC-U)
<Technical Yes, but you might as well give up:
PSP, mame neogeo era

Download IPFS from your package maintainer for your distribution if using linux. If using windows download IFPS from https://dist.ipfs.io/go-ipfs/v0.4.17/go-ipfs_v0.4.17_windows-386.zip . If using windows unzip the package and then press the windows button+R . If using windows then type into the prompt that appeared
>cmd.exe
And press enter. After that in the terminal that appear you need to change the directory to where you unzipped your IPFS. Use the command
>cd
To change directory to the location of your ipfs directory which should be under \users\*insert your user here*\Downloads\*insert ipfs folder here*\ . Open a terminal if on linux or from there on windows you go
>./ipfs init
And then
>./ipfs daemon
And then you can create the hash by doing
>./ipfs add *insert your file here*
Or
>./ipfs pin add *insert your file here*
Remove the dot If on linux and leave it if on windows. You can do that for individual rom files or .rar's if you wanted.

Thanks, and I already found out the selection thing. Gonna keep the english ones. However, I don't have time to go through them today, so I just saved all the links.
Since we're here anyway, what's the reccomended NDS emulator? I know about PPSSPP, so I got that covered, and I can probably find out about the others through searches.

GBA games, especially popular ones like SuperStar Saga are easy to get.
The hard GBA games would be obscure Japanese titles that weren't localized.
