Can you create custom NPCs and what not?

In was addicted to this game pretty bad s few years ago. Got printouts of all the recipes and townspeople's fav foods and everything still taped all over my walls. However, game got boring after i realised all i have to do is spam blueberries, strawberries, cranberries, and starfruit. With Imodium sprinklers, you almost have to do nothing but pull crops.

I wish they balanced it out better.

The guy who made this game literally created it because he thought the superior Harvest Moon games were "incomplete" experiences. So he went and created his "perfect" vision of Harvest Moon. With fucking gay marriages and racemixed couples.

This game is, no joke, my entire reason why I gave up altogether on western devs and their degenerate mindsets and video games. It gives a perfect comparison to the absolute state of western gaming. Apparently to these western niggers, no game series is "complete" until it's ruined by an assload of multiculturalism and sufficiently pozzed with degeneracy. Not even sweet and wholesome game franchises like Harvest Moon are exempt from this poisoned way of thinking.

In my opinion it's a bit of an Undertale scenario: a decent game made by people that are faggots, though they don't really shove their propaganda in your throat like Mass Effect and Dragon Age.

Sure, there's the gay fish and the nigger and you can be faggots with other people, one of them that could be a race mixed nigger as well but ultimately, it's shit you can ignore.

You can actively disregard niggerdad and niggerina, you can shun whoever character you want… and the game won't really mind.

Even better, you can mod them out, which is more than I can say for Undertale (unless there's a mod that makes either Alphys or fishtits a dude).

I personally believe that before judging a game and their developers, people need to judge the game itself.

Though, I say that as a pirate, I haven't bought a single vidya in five years so my opinion comes from the pre-conception that all this games I am playing are free.

Don't buy anything which bears Chucklefish brand, just pirate it, mod it and enjoy.

Especially enjoy the saltmine of people wanting to make Demetrius and Haru white, there's a shitload of SJWs that get pissed about that.

I agree. I don't know why people are ready to screech at the first sign of degeneracy in video games, but Starjew valley gets a pass. It's so obvious too. Why would I play this instead of Friends of Mineral Town? I've played abut two hours so far on my Vita and it isn't very engaging. Legit question btw, not being contrarian. What is the appeal of this vs. a real harvest moon game? The minor QoL changes? I don't get it.
