Moms like arcade style games. You gotta give her something with a lot of flashing lights and glowing particle effects. Current year Galaga rehashes (e.g. Resogun for PS4). Your mother isn't interested in your power level and isn't going to play metal gear solid or dark souls or whatever your top 5 games for each generation is. Pacman Championship Edition and Bust-A-Move are good starts for her to get comfortable with holding and using a controller. It's so odd that you people forget how foreign using an analog stick is to non-gamers considering none of you fucks actually play games.
