Revelations is also good, though at the this point the fact they haven't updated the engine properly and are just duct-taping code in there to get shit to work is becoming increasingly obvious. But it's still playable if you don't mind some quirks. It's also the first time Lara's backstory gets ret-conned (from survivor post-graduation of finishing school, to studying archaeology as a child with huge tits and being taught by a creepy old man).
Angel of Darkness you can skip. It's the game so bad it caused the series to need a reboot.
The Legend trilogy is good, but not as good as the original trilogy. The graphics are nicer but the levels are shorter and the puzzles are much simpler, with less emphasis on puzzle-platforming and more on simple physics shit. But Underworld gives you the source of these glorious fucking webms.
nuTomb Raider, the second reboot, would be enjoyable if it wasn't called Tomb Raider, because the character and the gameplay is so far removed it might as well have been something completely new anyway.
