What are some series that you think would make good Telltale games?
My picks would be Psych and Scooby-Doo. Both are already episodic already so they fit the format. You can also have an overarching plot that culminates in the last episode. I also think the point and click style gameplay works best for mystery games.

Scooby Doo is a great one. It would have to have a good writer though, IMDb high-rating confirmed. Or perhaps just an adaptation of one of the movies, like Scooby Doo on Zombie Island (the highest rated Scooby Doo movie).
They already screwed up The Walking Dead game series. I doubt they're going to fix it. I'd prefer they do that, but if they couldn't, Scooby Doo would be the next best thing.

I want Telltale games to be good, but by trying to mix visual novels with point-and-click gameplay they fall short of what makes those genres fun. People go into visual novels expecting a linear story with branching paths and point-and-click games expecting to be able to solve a single problem a myriad of different ways. It's a great combination on paper, but without the magic soap to mix the oil and water genres all you're left with is a stagnant story and restricting controls.
