Thing is though if you read the article, there was this ingame item from dota 2 that the scammers had just copied directly to the point it still had the official logo on it, it was basically impossible to tell that it was fake, it's on them for letting that get through their non existent quality control. I do agree though I don't feel bad about retards who spend 800 dollars on dota cosmetics getting scammed though, still shouldn't pass up an opportunity to get people mad at valve though
