I need a comfy 3DS game to take my mind away from where it supposed to be. I was thinking about pic related (also thinking about visiting Aika Village), but I haven't played it since 2014 and I heard it was ruined by the amiibo jew. The other options would be Fantasy Life and Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon. Which one do you guys recommend?

Any Rune Factory should have you set. Fantasy Life definitely is time-intensive, but to be honest it's both a little easy and a little boring, but definitely the most charming. Animal Crossing is ok, but absolutely the most boring of them all, and there's a limited amount of stuff you can do each day without clock-cheating.

Should also add, if you decide to grab Fantasy Life make sure it's anything but the American version. The European release had a significantly less horrendous translation.

Thanks for the answers lads. I tried Rune Factory 4 once, but there was a lot of text on the intro. I don't mind reading it, but it was a really long intro. Does it get better after that? Also, I was thinking about AC mostly to visit Aika Village, which I never did.

As if people don't do this regularly. Think of the interesting dynamics and interactions it could have on the NPC's and your daily life with them. Sims does this to a far lesser extent but a game where advancement is sometimes tied to getting along with and helping certain characters could make use of emotional attachment and feelings of betrayal in several neat ways.

Apparently you can "emulate/inject" amiibos on the 3DS with this thing. I, for once, don't support the amiibo jew, so I was looking for solutions.

I've seen longer intros, so RF4's isn't really that bad. And yes, the amount of forced exposition decreases significantly from what I've seen so far.

Aika Village is overrated. If that's the main draw of AC:NL for you, I wouldn't bother.
