Not really, THPS4 and THPSU1 have like 300 licensed songs between the two and it'll cost them a fortune to buy licenses again, so much they wouldn't make a profit unless each game sold at least a million copies.

It's asinine one of the only ways to play tony hawk nowadays is to hunt down some sportspack that has THUG2 or patches for the PC demo

I think devs have moved on, just like everyone else. When was the last time you saw a skateboard being used by someone that wasn't a hipster or a kid? Skate parks around my area are deadsville which is good because free running areas are few and far between.

I know Jewbisoft was going to port Steep but I'm guessing the game sold like ass so they probably cancelled the port. Also like everyone else said extreme sports games are basically dead, Activision only had the rights to make Tony Hawk games til 2015, and EA shut down the studio that made the Skate games and have no intention of doing anything with it other than reprint Skate 3.

The only extreme sports titles that's coming out are both kickstarted games, one being Session and the other some inline skating game.

Only options nowadays is to play the stuff we already have or pirate THUG 2 and install THUG Pro. THUG PRO NIGHT WHEN!?

Surprise surprise, a thing done primarily by a certain demographic is all but disappeared as said demographic is pushed out of the limelight completely and replaced/displaced. Although it's probably worse because they didn't even bother to replace it with anything. It's just gone.
