Rocket League. It's got a ton of cancerous growths attached to it but the gameplay is no strings attached, there's no meta progression and matches are 10 minutes max.
I just disable every form of communication with both my teammates and the enemy as this game is full of kids and spergs who bet their life on each game.

For Honor was the last one. There's plenty of cancer in the popular 4v4 mode though. It's either a bulldoze round for my team or a bulldoze round for the other. Feeling like a match was hard fought is pretty rare.

Stalking people naked and weaponless while they were exploring a level and trying to either knock them off a cliff or get them to kill themselves in some other way in Souls. This was before the stupid dueling meta ruined the real fun.

Fucking Movie Battles II. Surprisingly high skill cap, and tons of different ways games can go. Watch vid for some good examples - has an example of a single guy kicking some serious ass, but not in the typical nuBattlefront methods of hitting one button to win.

I thought it was funny when the survivors had fucked up sound, so they only heard the heartbeat when they were right next to them, good times. They are nerfing the survivors alot recently so killers are actually bullying survivors more.
I would usually facecamp, i had fun because of all the anger and resentment towards me for using an underhanded tactic. I still have all of the angry comment on my profile, its so funny

ill enjoy pretty much any fps with tons of custom maps and servers that host them. the biggest reason being that games are more fun when the meta isnt fleshed out and discovery is a part of it. i remember there was a halflife 2 deathmatch server that hosted like 800 custom maps. sure a lot of them sucked but every match being different aside from you and your aim was more important to me.
