That's not what parents at the time were saying, and there were a lot of shows which did - to a degree pushing the boundaries of the time. You had this schism between shows like Thundercats, GI Joe, Transformers, He-Man, etc that got shown on network TV and had "wholesome" messages and toned down the violence considerably to appease the momma birds - and then you had the irreverent goofy shit that was just supposed to be light comedy and taught kids nothing, like PeeWee's Playhouse. I don't think Ren & Stimpy was ever really meant for children, and it was a (((Cable))) only program (which pretty much meant the mark of Satan's degeneracy to parents in the 80's/90's) - but damn if it wasn't popular at least with the kids I knew.

I don’t think Amazons uses stock footage. Either way it’s 10/10 and brings back the horror elements of Kamen Rider that was left behind. The first episode is a bit low budget you’ll see what I mean in the monsters design. But it took the place of my second favorite Rider right behind Fourze which ironically was another series I thought I would hate.
Definitely, definitely give Amazons a watch if you haven’t yet, especially now that the final movie is out and should be hitting the internet soon.

I imagine the payoff is better in the children’s cartoon case. Instead of having to spend money developing a game, paying off journalists and streamers, and crossing your fingers the sjws your community manager told you to pander to actually buy your game, you instead just have to license it out to some underpaid soy animators to put together a colorful, hyper active cartoon that kids will eat up while you sit back as the cheap merchandise you put out sells like candy.
In the case of Castlevania though… I really don’t know. You have some edgelord, fedora tipping Indian heading the project who has only worked on shitty web shorts and the audience is… yeah, I got nothing.

But here, even accounting for the higher numbers resulting from creating entirely different clips from the same episode, you clearly made multiples of the same clips and narrowed down the best ones. I'll let you in on a secret. When I make webms I sometimes…only sometimes…make two of the same clip. One with sound, one without. Assuming I didn't mess up, even numbered ones have sound and the odd numbers are mute. I do this in case the audio makes the webm too big or I think the dialogue isn't worth a damn compared to the eye candy. There used to be a secondary reasoning in there. 4chan.. But I don't bother visiting their famed boards nowadays.
