I find that to be debatable because like you said there is a lack of solid evidence but I wouldn't completely dismiss it otherwise. I would say that /leftypol/ winning regardless of cheating if what killed interest for an icup III for anons and the old host lacking time and getting disillusioned with 8chan after Hotwheels retired and /hebe/ being deleted because of how Jim wanted ad revenue.
Also since a fourth cup is guaranteed due to the fact that the cup so far is a resounding success, are we going to wait till next summer for a fourth cup, or will we do the original plan of doing winter cups as well? Can both teams have time to check over the formation in the first and second half of the game? I believe every board on here would appreciate being able to check their formation at the beginning of each game before the game actually starts so we can stop having these terrible matches and accuse you of rigging each game. Also I think we would all appreciate the ability to directly speak with the streamer instead of shouting into a sea of 50 anons on cytube. I hear you have a discord setup. Give us the link to please or some other method of chatting with you like IRC. Can we also have each board put forward coaches to check the formations at the start of each game and talk with you privately (as in you bring both coaches in to make changes one after another and don't let them listen in on each other) to fix the formation/make edits to the formation at the beginning of a match, half time, or timeout depending on our strategy.
This would seriously offset the frustration a lot of boards are experiencing at the moment when the game starts up and the formation is the same broken one from the previous time and we can't even get you to fix the formations until part way through the match.

Are people aware that you can have 3 PRESETS in the tactics of your teams including DIFFERENT FORMATIONS, pic related. Also when fluid formations is turned on you can have additional FORMATIONS set for different scenarios. Basically the organizer probably has some unneeded setting turned on, fluid formations and change preset tactics, that are changing the formations seen in-game.

In their very last match /monster/ was tweaked to order and they still got 3-0'd. It's more likely that their correct formation was a poor match for the ones they've run up against and also that they shouldn't have went 4-3-3 with a DMF, the first team I found with a matching formation was Maccabi Tel-Aviv and their stats aren't amazing (50-27-47 goals+7) in the UEFA. /liberty/ is running a fairly offensive formation and it just seemed to tear apart /monster/'s ability to defend- this may be an aberration due to the exact nature of /liberty/'s distribution. There were 16 interceptions (16!) in that game. At least two players exceeded 6 interceptions (Andrew Jackson and Pinochet) which is remarkably high for soccer.
apologies if I got anything wrong here, did a bit of research but I'm not actually too into soccer so I may be missing out on some "common knowledge"

If I end up running this again the following changes are happening.
- Every board will have a week to lock in. A successful lock in is a thread on /8cup/
- There will be up to 10 back up boards allowed in to lock in and to be used in the event a board does not finalize on time.
- A board has exactly 1 month from the last day of the lock in week to finalize. (a completed finalization is: anthem, goal horn, uniform, player names and skills, atleast 1 formation, and a manager to verify formation beginning of match and half time and do substitutions should the board wish so)
- All boards not finalized at the end of finalization month will be substituted with a finalized back up board.
- in the event that not enough teams for a proper competition are finalized by the end of finalization Month, the remaining slots will be filled with a team of red anon each representing a randomized board using 8chan random command.

Would you consider edits done mid-thread to be as important as the OP? Because in that case I would probably suggest that all boards must have their own thread on their own board and only post on /8cup/ once they've got 99% of the stuff set up and only shit like goal horns or shirt numbers are still WIP. Otherwise you need a way to force them to make a final roster+kits+everythingelse statement/post that replaces the OP and is FINAL, regardless of any mistakes within it.

Again, I get the matches not being lined up properly to the roster being an issue, but the wiki is not where TNA was pulling the lineup from. He took the info from the threads and posts, and imported the team in there. Nonetheless, the wiki is fixed now, nothing was stopping anyone from going in there and fixing it themselves either.
I feel like a lot of the problems we've run into thus far were a result of doing this cup basically on a whim, and rushing everyone to get a team in. There wasn't enough time to get familiar with the clusterfuck that is PES, and boards had to throw together what were basically patchwork teams with back-of-the-napkin tactics. Once this cup concludes, we should have a ton of time leading up to the next one, allowing everyone to get their shit together and produce something of quality in the next one.
