It’s short. There are some segments that aren’t really platforming centered, like the puzzles in the swing factory, and I didn’t care much for those parts. But it’s got great controls and a really good ost. I just wish there was some sort of level editor. I quite like the swinging/wall running mechanics but the game isn’t long enough to really get the most out of it.

I love doujin games like this. Especially when they add cringy features on purpose that don't remove anything from the experience but give it a quirky style that can't be emulated. I especially like the FMV (can't say many games are up for that kind of shit anymore) and the fact you have dynamic dabbing, which can be activated even on dialogue options.
Only thing wrong with this sort of games is that they just HAVE to add spooky ambience or some "creepy" shit that basically everyone expects, it's not funny, it's just annoying.

I liked the platforming and I thought what little combat there was at the end was cool. It also looks pretty good. I think it's the only game I'd ever want to play with that fuzzy composite look. That temple thing was bullshit though, worst part of the game.

It's probably because most people don't want to go through the effort of making pre-rendered animations and just let the ragdoll physics meme dictate their stuff.
Just like the devs for Conker said, first rule to tell if a AAA game is shit: push against a wall, if the character does not change animation it means devs didn't really give much of a shit.

Must be just your local store. They legit make the best pizza in my town, and last time I was there, I was sitting out in the car waiting for the pizza to get done playing Project Diva until the Pizza was ready. Turns out, the pizza was done a few minutes early since they weren't busy and the girl behind the counter wrapped it up in one of those sealed carry-out bags and brought it out to my car in the middle of the driving rain.
