Hooktube: Probably collects information about extremist organizations like gamergate jk and sells that data to third parties. Still leaks some data to youtube. Doesn't leak the page where video is embedded to channel owner though.

Hooktube is a third party wrapper that uses javascript to datamine you and pulls videos from googlevideos because guess what, that's where they are hosted. You still connect to google because there is no other way to view the video. Hooktube changes nothing except you give the data to two places, instead of one.
