A lot of sequels are 'more of the same'.
When it first came out the game had an air of mystery that was neat and spooky, and it was a mostly ignored indie game that didn't have the massive autism stigma.
Because people latched onto it, the guy built on it. But honestly, the guy is about the single best indie developer out there, not for his talent, but for his monetary practices. He's released, what, two free games now? He also upset that game theory guy, which is always a win.
