It's not impossible for species to be similar, if two different species and planets had roughly the same enviromental temperatures that line up with Earths', it'd be pretty likely that you'd fine other human-esque races since the conditions that created us could also create others like us. Galacta Knight is fucking rabid and the reason he cut down Star Dream was because he's destructively thirsty for battle and it was the first powerful thing he saw.
You already hear it stated more than once he's explicitly a planet buster that had to be locked up because of his power and he showed to give no fucks in a flashback casually standing on a seemingly destroyed cliff surrounded by flames. Every time Galacta Knight shows up he immediately attacks without even asking where he is. Kirby's ability is to use any power his opponent can use and is willing to use any weapon as well. Planet buster abilities are not exempt from this, neither is the concept of a character being innocent or malicious to what Kirby decides to do. Hell, he seems to outright torment Waddle Dees and after DeDeDe did one bad thing, Kirby has proceeded to kick his ass at every opportunity on the faintest suspicion that DeDeDe was up to something.

We don't know much about him. It's not been stated he's Evil, but he apparently enjoys combat. When freed by Nova, he fought Metaknight and didn't try to do anything else. When freed in Return to dreamland, he fights Kirby and doesn't do anything else. In fact ,the only time he does anything aside from fighting kirby/metaknight is when Star Dream summons him. He attacks Star dream without question with a strike that clearly shows he was going for a kill before fighting metaknight/kirby in a more "balanced" manner than going right for the kill. Was he pissed at Star Dream because it forcefully summoned him? or did he feel it was a danger? We may never know, though Morpho Knights description does mention he at least "was a pure being" twisted by a "dark past".

But this brings up another topic: in the Guest Star ????, the ritual to summon Void Termina is instead used to… Summon Galacta Knight? Who is then merged with the Morpho butterfly into Morpho Knight.

This wave is autistic and trendy but Kirby lore is also a real thing. There have been obvious attempts in-game to make Kirby canon have more continuity with each other with more tangible references to past events outside of just easter eggs or nostalgia (like the revelation of The Ancients and their hand in creating Galactic Nova, Master Crown, maybe even the Star Rod, etc), they've been giving more thought to the pause screen descriptions when you fight the bosses, and Kirby seems to have fallen into a pattern of what the final boss will be compared to how the rest of the game is.
I think this started because of the popularity of the games that featured Dark Matter and the fans attempts to connect them together. Seems to me that they've been trying to replicate that ever since.

are just priceless and basically represent a part of attitude or tone only Americans can provide sarcastically or mean spiritedly. You can see how they made it more kid friendly and "well I never" cartoony while maintaining a feeling of insanity, murderous and even genocidal intent, fanaticism and for adults more advanced vocabulary menace and fury while actually even adding some eloquently worded, almost merely offended indignation at how they were treated and his logic to revive Ultra Satan and sic it on the entire universe in retaliation. All this in-between his light speed rambling helps to show the villain really is crazy and doesn't even realize or care and is shows they actually read the fucking script to word it that differently translated from Japanese while not butchering it with unrelated inexorably filtered out ugly, beauty and tits hating cuck shit. I just realized something. Basically, Star Allies has been the most heavy handed in terms of referencing the anime. The three keystone parts are:

That said, there is this discussion of what is good and what is evil and that anger can appear to be evil if viewed the wrong way. Then I realized I made a screencap of something Metaknight said near the end of the episode:

Perhaps this is the main feather to point out that Kirby, as kind and innocent as he is, has never ACTUALLY been pissed off, and should that ever happen, he'd destroy everything. well, one can assume he wants to militarize Dream Land so they don't depend on Kirby every time a new horrifying eldritch monster comes to disintegrate reality or something. If Star Allies is any indication, he heavily underestimated the Dream Land population. that or he trained them off-screen in a pacific way rather than by force, makes you wonder why he even tried to take over if cooperation was enough, he probably felt angry and emotional by Dream Land's veritable indifference towards Dark Matter's and Nightmare's attacks.

Alright, here's my autistic theory:
Void Termina is the same species as Kirby and Meta-Knight.
It got corrupted after absorbing a piece of Dark Matter and started consuming more and more powerful artifacts and creatures. This is why it's seen using so many different powers, even ones like the Master Crown. This is also why the core has the same face as Kirby and why the final form is the source of its corruption, Dark Matter.

Considering there is a tie in to aspects of the anime related to this game, I believe that they wanted to give proper hints of what Kirby's species actually is. However, Dark Matter and Kirby's species are clearly different, just as Kirby and Gooey are different. SO they are more like cousins.
Void Termina seems to be everlasting ,making it one of the oldest known beings in existence with it's cycle of rebirth and is show to have fragments come off and have a mind of their own. Zero and Kirby may be cut from the same cloth with Void being the progenitor of both, but each suffering divergent evolution/growth. What IS made apparent is the boss text, at least in the (((localization)))

Perhaps Metaknight and his abilities come from the 100% dedication to the sword and knightship (likely learned from what was left of earth's past that could be found), as is the same with Galacta Knight, focusing on one task. Kirby hasn't chosen such a task and instead remains somewhat innocent, choosing to be… lazy, for all intense and purposes.

Not entirely. Zero would still be Kirby's polar and Kirby always needed shitloads of assistance in beating Zero, and hell, both time Kirby won was by using some sacred special weapon. Zero is still as powerful as he's been and is the only one two entire games have been built around. Void is merely this sort of "here I am, things are destroyed", but Kirby and Zero possess intelligence, Kirby being justice and innocence while Zero is malice.
As for the progenitor of Dark Matter, Zero still seems to be the owner of that title as Void doesn't even attempt to do so, though has made duplicates of it's self for it's attacks. It's possibly a couple of fragments came off and became sentient in some age long ago, possibly when Void was sealed by the 4 warriors.
