Zowie is the best brand. If any anon here proves that they're kikes or their products are actually overpriced and overrated garbage then I guess go for something else.

That simply isn't true; Zowie Mice are purely bought for their shape and lack of bloatware. The clicks are terrible, and the sensor (While serviceable) has been beaten since.

BenQ has gotten complacent, which will definitely hurt them if this Logitech "FK" makes it to market.

I own the g402. I would pick something less "LE GAYMER" but it was all there was in supply in my isolated shithole.

I have owned it for 6 months and I don't know if the buttons have gone through break in or if their clicks will get mushy, but if this isn't break in one day they will definitely go mushy.

You can't turn off the LEDs. At all. You can make them weaker but you can't turn them off. I just severed the wires powering the LEDs on mine.

The design is edgy shit, it's not ergonomic and it'll never be, it's just for madcatz-tier flashyness.

You need logitech's botnet malware driver to configure it, and then the configuration is saved to the mouse's firmware. I bound some of the buttons with the botnet driver on a sacrificial sheep's computer otherwise the buttons beyond MOUSE4 and MOUSE5 are useless. The DPI button is thankfully rebindable too because it's ledditor e-sports snake oil shit and the mouse claims that any of the DPI settings is the native DPI because the signal is "resampled analogically" or some other retarded nonsense, but that's wrong, and nobody has proved which DPI is the right one yet so I recommend you stick to 400dpi which is most likely to be the correct one or an exact multiple of it. The DPI settings are also actually 105% of the real DPI. 400dpi is actually 380dpi for instance.

Overall if you can get it for 10 dollars that's all it's worth, I myself paid the equivalent to 80 dollars because fuck me for being a 3rd worlder.

I don't know what you mean the design isn't ergonomic at all, I have the mouse too and it's one of the comfiest mice I've had. It fits in my hand nicely, all the button are placed well so I never have to strain to press anything and I like the feel of it.

Also maybe they just have shit QA but in my experience I've had mine for 2 years now and the clicks are as sharp as ever so maybe it's just hit or miss on whether you'll get a decent one or not. Personally I really like the mouse, I got it on a black friday sale for $40 and I've liked it ever sicne

I got a G403 a few months ago and it started getting a scrolling issue where it randomly scrolls in the opposite direction that you're scrolling, even with the new firmware that was supposed to fix this. It's very mild and not that frequent and is not a problem so far but I don't know if it'll get worse, for this reason I do not recommend it.

The problem is that if you live in the third world , you'll find that mice that cost the same in the US will have radically different prices. In my area Logitech mice have reasonable prices but Zowie/Razer are multiple times the price.

G9x/G502 are the best mice you can get period, even with the G9x being 4+ years old it still has better response/tracking than 99.999999% of mice released in the last five years

This isn't so much in part to the sensor, it's in part to the massively overpowered CPU they coupled to the damn thing to bring response time to sub 1ms

People like to shit on Logitech but at least Logitech doesn't take off the shelf parts and mark them up, they actually stick in high quality switches/glass/spend money on ergonomics etc, along with making sure the CPU/USB controllers are second to none

Hell all things considered the fuck happened to Zowie? They put out 2-3 good mice and suddenly they got their heads up their ass and massively marked up the prices on all their shit, when their mice are technically today worse than most Steelseries

Thinking of getting a G203 since I'm on a budget so other mice like the G500 or anything in the G400 series isn't possible for me right now. Is the G203 any good regardless or should I just say fuck it and get the G500?

Wireless mice are great for one reason: No cable drag.

It might depend a little on your setup, but there's virtually no way to ensure that a mouse cable never snags or drags on anything, even itself. Even the slightest bit of a snag WILL throw off your aim when you try to flick the mouse. A wireless mouse has no cord, so there's nothing there to disrupt you.

trackballs haven't been relevant since mice with laser sensors were invented. Your lack of skipping mouseball is no longer an advantage when you still have to spend weeks relearning basic motor skills on the damn thing

Basically all about shape. Everything in G400 and 500 series use flawless sensors and so does the 203 so it barely matters, if you like the shape of the G203 go ahead, if you don't then skip.

>>15170218

There really isn't. The latency is impossible to notice on anything that's half decent. The only thing that stands in the way is battery weight, but even that is being nullified today.

Haven't used my EMP yet, but I took it out to compare to the G400. Very, very similar. Weight is distributed slightly differently, and the texture is a lot smoother on the EMP. Shitty pics, but you can get an idea for them. I haven't seen any pics that compare the EMP with the G400 anywhere.

8af1dc No.15186740

Logitech mice are decent, but I hate the fucking silicone grips that MELT from just your body heat or the matte finish that eventually rubs off on your skin.

Most of the mice I've had recently started fucking up with their laser tracking, where the cursor will fly off in random directions at break neck speeds, making any game that relies on accuracy impossible to play. I'll try turning one way and suddenly I've done a 180 staring down a wall, or with my previous mouse the cursor would fly off in one direction and I'd be facing straight up spinning like a top.

I read that this might be from a hair getting stuck in the laser's path and went through a hell of a process taking the one mouse apart to clean it out, but it was for nothing.

>stick to 400 DPI

<unironically using low CPI (DPI is for printing faggot)

You're supposed to use high CPI (unless playing shit like CS 1.6), then lower sensibility in-game to get the same effect as your desired CPI target. That way given a movement your crosshairs will move the same distance but have more discrete steps. If you use low CPI and compensate with increased sensitivity the game will add fake steps between 2 counts to compensate, thus throwing off your aim.

>mouse claims that any of the DPI settings is the native DPI

All sensors have their own native CPI steps. Good sensors, like the Pixart PMW3360 for example, will take any CPI multiple of 50 just fine. Shitty sensors offer a limited list of CPI values and will interpolate when you pick a non-native CPI.

You're supposed to take note of a mouse's sensor's supported CPI values before even considering buying it.
