Because God hates SEGA, obviously. Else he wouldn't have let the Bulgarian hack their new game on release day.

9c2a15 No.15139326

Because it fundamentally is an arcade game an arcades are all but dead? Because racing games (the closest equivalent I can think of) nowadays need to be hyper-realistic for the autist crowd or Need them fat gangsta career mode á la Need for Speed?

Download Demul, Redream or Reicast. It's CURRENTYEAR, DC emulation isn't a problem.

Also, Crazy Taxi 3 was shit.

This. Plenty of games have minigames that are basically Crazy Taxi, like driving a taxi in Grand Theft Auto. The thing is they aren't as good since they're not the actual focus of the game.

>>15139313

While it sucks that Sega was so butthurt about it, Simpsons Road Rage is a legitimately great Crazy Taxi clone, so much so that you can basically count it as Crazy Taxi 4. So hey, at least we got four of them.

>>15139326

Crazy Taxi functions closer to a kart racer than a racing sim.

>>15139734

I played both games on Dreamcast a lot, and recall having a lot of fun with lots and lots of extra challenges. They kept me occupied for a lot longer than ten minutes.

>>15139801

If you've got it, great. But scalpers are already getting those systems to be far more expensive than they should be, and it is only getting worse. It's one thing for us, but children growing up now will not be able to play them as easily as us.

How do you look up filed copyrights? Someone should make an arcadey driving game about taxiing people around the city and sit on it until the very hour the copyright expires on it.

It doesn't even have to be about traditional taxis now that Uber/Lyft is taking away their business. In addition to collecting fares, you can also try to reach 5 star ratings by pulling off cuhrayzee stunts.

Shit, you can even flip the script, and make the plot of the game about a traditional taxi driver bringing CRAZY TAXI to town to compete with the slow and boring Uber/Lyft.

6327ed No.15150027

>>15139418

Best of all they copyrighted it, and then stopped doing it. And now nobody cares about gameplay anyway so we're not going to see that stuff.

>>15148178

>How do you look up filed copyrights?

You probably mean patents or at least trademarks.

They're intentionally convoluted, vague and misleading so that whenever someone tries to do anything they're at the mercy of some big kike corporation. And you shouldn't look into patents because in most countries being aware of a patent means if you infringe it your punishment is specially severe. The only way to deal with patent laws is to ignore them and leave cookies in your front door so when the team of lawyers comes knocking they're in a good mood.

This of course doesn't affect big corporations because all big corporations hold thousands of patents so if any two of them decided to have a go at each other it would become a card game where nobody runs out of cards and there is no winning condition, which in turn means they all team up to fuck over the small guys. Patent law by definition is meant to fuck over the consumer and the small businessman.

>leave cookies in your front door so when the team of lawyers comes knocking they're in a good mood.

Is this an actual strategy? I don't mean literally, since I'm pretty sure law firms just mail you a letter that says "see you in court!" But is there something people do to cajole the plaintiff party?

I never owned a Dreamcast

The Genesis and Gameboy/Gameboy Advance SP I had I gave them to poor kids, I still have my PS1 and PS2 plus all the 80 or so games I own for both.

I never sold anything as (((gaming retailers))) gave you pocket money for them.

Like I said, I'd rather not get kiked by collectionniggers like you'll have to be unless you want to play anything outside the collection you already own.

Crazy taxi was only fun for like a few hours of gameplay, and I played it as a kid in the early 00's.
