Since all the creations are png files, and can just be copied into your spore creations folder I was wondering if any of you have a simple program for grabbing lots of them quickly. So after doing some testing on the new map, I found out you CAN actually avoid attacks from enemy vehicles if you get behind cover.
And the attacks can damage whatever they hit.
I might have a real boss fight in the next mission.

also a fun tip, lasers from aircraft and space ships will actually fire from where the weapons are. So you can hide weapons inside the vehicle and make giant doom laser crystals like this.

I think they over promised on some aspects, that and there was this whole conflict inside Maxis between "Cute" and "Science". Honestly, other than the aquatic stage, most of what was seen in the prerelease builds made it into the final game. But they still promised more than they could deliver.

It's been said before in previous threads. The skinny of it is that bad management was it's demise. It had a lot of functionality, but was incredibly shallow in some areas. The space stage for example was one of the greatest disappointments because it has the breadth of the ocean with the depth of a kiddy pool.
