It's a great game, Hitler. If you like JRPGs it's pretty faithful to the traditional turn-based combat systems most of them used. If you were a fan of the comics (that never got finished because Joe Madureira was too lazy to actually draw them) it's nice that it helps tie up the unresolved loose ends of the story. There also wasn't any blatant SJW crap, which might be because Airship Syndicate is a small developer. Pic related deals out obscene amounts of damage at high levels. Keeping either Knolan or Calibretto in your party is important because without a dedicated healer it's easy to die quickly.

Was a fan of Joe Madureira short comic book series, wanted to see if he can manage to end it but then cliffhanger bullshit. It's a pretty average turn-based RPG, think you can enjoy 1-2 playthroughs then you are done with it.

Confirmed for you played it for five minutes, it's not Oblivion. Each dungeon has three different difficulties with different maps, enemies, and loot. The strength of enemies depends on where you are in the world like in Dragon Quest. After you reach a certain number of levels above the enemies in a region, they become too scared to attack you so even fighting them at all is optional.

Yea nah, if the scaling actually stops later that would be nice but seeing the bats from the very start of the game level up right along with me made me not want to pick it up again.

It's okay, not great but fun enough. Sometimes gets broken by updates. Load times are pretty bad. Garrison is OP and could probably solo the entire game if he was allowed to.

Not at all. There's a recap at the start, and the game is a side story anyway.

Nothing scales with you. Enemy levels are determined by the area they're in. If you level up, you get stronger and they don't.

I had a ton of fun with it. Kinda short compared to some RPGs, but it didn't outstation it's welcome and it always did something neat. Love the animation and artstyle, Calibretto best boy.

I started reading X-men comics as a kid, around the time Joe Mad became a regular artist on Uncanny X-Men. I loved him, got anything he did. Scott Lobdell was the writer at the time, the stories were very melodramatic and pretty decent, better than any other G-rated media. Got Battlechasers but didn't think the story was anything special.

Looking back I can't stand Joe Mad's art, but still like Chris Bachalo's early art. Bachalo was also anime influenced but with a more 80s anime style - I'm watching Ranma at the moment and the faces remind me of Bachalo's art. The first dozen or so issues of Generation X are still great fun.

It's shit. Way too easy and I mean it. Total Cancer nailed it, you can beat most of the fights by mashing space or whatever the default attack button is. I gave it a chance because it has interesting mechanics and dropped it when I oneshot the boss in one of the last dungeons on the hardest difficulty after it said "I was doomed to die there" lol
