The only series that there's even a chance of it adapting is Wing, which is an ensemble cast (and has a Chinese main character). Otherwise it will be original or a One Year War side-story.

Odd also how you neglect that while it was slightly touched on, it does do really good at handling the concept of a drone war with Mobile Dolls, Trieze's entire reason for rebelling is because he realizes if wars are not paid for in the blood of soldiers then there is no reason to fight, it's the casualties of war that ultimately make us stop and look at it as terrible. Remove the loss of life from the battlefield and you have something terrible.

Wing' second half was a romanticized view of war from the new writer. Everything, from Treize's intentions, to Relena being a puppet, is made to look like the characters are the right ones, when in fact, they are the pacifist or idealistic idiots that think that "end wars now" is a valid term. The world manipulates them all from start to finish, and somehow, we are supposed to sheer for them, when all they have done is fail on everything until the very end.

And don't forget that the world state is still treated as a good thing through the end. As if it was something desirable and beneficial to humanity, when in reality, it is the worst outcome for all.
