Association implies distinction, "No u" is not a valid argument and if a person doesn't care for the subject, he might as well not care for distinction between brown and burgundy. My examples weren't all encompassing (like in your 3rd image freckles look like black spots) and I was just simply giving a reasonable explanation for why someone might not like what you like.

Something like "cute girls use too much makeup, hiding the freckles if they have any, whereas most people who don't use makeup, therefore showing freckles if they have them, which causes people to make the connection that clear face = pretty and spots = ugly" makes more sense.
